Sematext Cloud offers server monitoring capabilities which allow users to view how their servers are being utilized from past to present. They can also use range queries to look for logs that contain numeric values within a specified range.

Log Alerts

Aside from its log searching and filtering features, Sematext Cloud provides log alerting features. Users can narrow down the logs they want to receive alerts for through the aid of query filters. They can also set threshold-based alerts wherein they will be notified when the number of logs reached the threshold they specified. The solution can send alerts when it detects abnormal log counts and other anomalies in the logs.

Log Event Context

Sematext Cloud has log event context feature. With this feature, when users find a log event that they are interested in, a single click instantly reveals the context of that particular log event. Thus, they will be able to determine what occurred before and after the log event. This can help them explore log messages and dig deeper into the errors they contain.

Collect Docker Metrics, Events, And Logs

Sematext Cloud supports monitoring of container-based infrastructure. It has a Docker agent which can be deployed as a tiny container using a single “docker run…” command. It can also be run as a Kubernetes DaemonSet, Docker Swarm service or be deployed together with  Rancher or Marathon. Through the Docker agent, users will be able to collect metrics, events, and logs related to Docker hosts and containers. Additionally, they can receive alerts that notify them about Docker host or container metric or log patterns. To be able to troubleshoot errors or issues faster, users can automatically correlate Docker metrics and logs.
