PROS: The best thing about Sitefinity is that it helps make our programmers' job much easier and more convenient. The platform can be extended seamlessly in our native stack to meet the ever-changing needs of our business. It works better compared to standard WordPress platforms. Sitefinity, in general, is an excellent marketing and business program.

CONS: Sitefinity comes with so many features, but some of them are unnecessary for our business’ needs. It has tons of extras included, such as Javascript files. Our team has to eliminate a lot of defaults to efficiently finish our works.

PROS: Sitefinity is easy to use and set-up. Unlike the other CMS we’ve used before, this tool makes it easy for us to develop and publish content. Also, I appreciate the support team for solving our issues fast.

CONS: I want that its documentation to be brief and more understandable. We are using the latest version of the software, and it’s quick slow when we are syncing to the production environment.

PROS: Creating websites that seamlessly works on smartphones, desktops, and tablets’ screens are easy with Sitefinity. Using it also doesn’t require any copyrighted tools to finish the development project successfully—simply standard-compliant CSS and HTML tools, and you’re all set. The best thing about this software is that it doesn’t cause any trouble during the designing process.

CONS: There’s no way you can add more users to Sitefinity. The tool has some restrictions when it comes to the number of back-end users within the license you acquire. You have to upgrade your license edition so that you can add more users to it. With the upgrade, however, you will also be provided with additional features, which you may not use.

PROS: Sitefinity helps make website content management and designing much easier. We use it to generate widget content to improve the overall capability of the websites we create. One of the best features I love about this Sitefinity is the documentation tool, and it’s more advanced than other software out there.

CONS: I am having issues launching the software. It takes more time to load.

PROS: Building new pages is easy with Sitefinity’s user interface. All you have to do is to drag content modules and customize the site to fit the content. It is easier to add new custom content and manage the design of web services. We can even add new custom components or work with the existing ones with documentation functionality.

CONS: I don’t particularly appreciate that CodeSync doesn’t seem to work well when using codes from bitbucket or when we try to add multiple users to work and set up updates. We tend to use some alternatives to finish the task successfully. The documentation, on the other hand, needs more improvement, and I suggest they put more coding samples to help users.

CONS: I noticed that some of its previewing functionalities while the other features are running on a page are quite plain. This prevents us from seeing the final result of the widget’s appearance.

PROS: I like that Sitefinity has a lot of helpful features and capabilities to customize content designing and management. What’s more impressive with the custom implementation is the help that comes from Visual Studio. With it, we can easily add custom modules, edit them, and add third-party elements to improve customer experience.

CONS: The app takes much time to load during the initial launch. Also, Sitefinity still retains their e-Ecommerce features on its latest version after eliminating its e-Commerce module to integrate some third-party software. Also, there are no new features added to the latest version. I also noticed that the app that lots of tables and don’t have much documentation for troubleshooting purposes.

CONS: There are actually certain things that would assist us from the project itself. But we chose to hand them over to SiteFinity themselves for review. They're open to just about anythng and are responsive to any of our inquiries. It's a rare situation to working with the help desk but we've encountered a few instances where it took a long while to resolve a problem we're currently experiencing.

PROS: Being a developer, one of the most boring things to do when developing is content creation changes. CMS was able to resolve this issue by lifting off the burden from the developer and giving the responsiblity back to content managers. A majority of CMSs who do this wind up failing and going back to doing the changes themselves. But that's not the case with Sitefinit as its UI is easy for content managers to make the necessary changes.

CONS: One the biggest things I hate with Sitefinity is its pricing. Clearly, it's not intended for SMBs. It would left a lot of my clients outside the box. Another downside with its is that the base of the product is on its web forms. Thing is, they've actually made headway within the MVC space (although it's not purely an MVC product).

PROS: I like its UI. This makes it all the more simple in creating new pages, dragging content modules into them, doing site architecture, and tinkering with configuration options (as required). As a developer, it can be can be easy in adding customized components that end users can deal with. The current web service architecutre can be leverage to help make customized services that suit my needs.

CONS: Its CodeSync tool is avaialble for my working needs. It appears as if the versioning won't play nicely when you're making use of a code that's housed in bitbucket. Or when you're dealing with a multi-user team who are tasked in working and deploying updates. In the end, I had to go back to the xcopy-deploy process.

PROS: I'm very much impressed with the intense passion and concentration to be being at the forefront of technology in expanding functionality. It would help empower users and let developers concentrate further on development with exceptional UI tools, support-developer community, and online services. With a combination of state-of-the-art and dependable technology stacks, they're still the choice for any enterprise. They're a solution capable of bridging silos and being a great fit for a solution spanning intra-collaboration on moble and web use.

CONS: A number of dislikes that have been looked into. This is aimed at its v9 functionality the past several months. But if there's one to dislike, it wold be the absence of an open marketplace consisting of third part components and integrations. It'd be nice to have further insight on the road map for developing customized intergrations.

PROS: The UX appears to be highly intuitive in making swift changes. At the same time, it foster for technical users to gain entry to an html, scripts, and CSS. These can only be possible if changes are really needed from this end. Crafting new templates and setting them up for mobile-based responsiveness also meets the standards.

CONS: Certain customizations are needed if there's any intention of utilzing a log-in wall or payment. There's no other clean approach in housing those within the CMS.

PROS: It's relatively simple to use. It also happens to be easy enough to understand. It teaches users on how to maximize it fully. I've been doing site management and creation within SF since the third version.

CONS: There are some restrictions that can either be challenging to push through or not longer possible to do based on the libraries utilized by the SF. They can be annoying when going against them. The price of licensing makes it challenging for those outside the mid- to enterprise-level business. I can pretty much understand them and how hard it can be to sell.

The present configurations in Sitefinity makes it one of the many ideal CMS in the development of optimized sites. Its ease of use for end users in administering the site happens to be one of the USPs for Sitefinity.

CONS: Certain functionality such as site sync can be erractic for us from time to time. Within our sites, we made plenty of customized widget and faced several syncing issues in the site.
