The first product of SiteMinder is  Channel Manager, which helps the hotel owners in making all the rooms available for online booking. This product also helps the users in automating the inventory and manage the channel performance.  The Channel Manager also provides users with a user-friendly dashboard with features for visualizing the channel performance.  

Canvas is the second product of SiteMinder that helps the hoteliers owners and partners in creating websites that are optimized for search engines and compatible with mobile and other devices.  These sites are optimized for search engines with the help of latest SEO techniques which enables them to get to the top of the search engine lists. The product offers a website creation tool along with the professional themes and templates.

The third product, named as TheBookingButton, the complements the websites created through The Canvas by adding booking engine. The booking engines added to the websites are branded and trusted by big names of the industry around the world. Moreover, The booking engines provide on-site booking facility through an easy two-step booking procedure. Other features include Facebook access multi-language and multi-currency support.

PROS: The number of Channels integrated is impressive with channel updates in real-time, mandatory in our view.

CONS: The Support and company personnel appear totally uninterested in customer feedback or addressing problems as they are raised. Lack of daily reports for revenue and payments as a consolidation of OTAs is sadly lacking. Canvas as a web template is poor and expensive for what it delivers. Very basic functionality yet pricey for small operators, basically unviable for us.

PROS: Their best aspects are rudeness, irresponsibilty and ignorance.

CONS: Please read carefully before you decide to deal with them. Michael from siteminder just called me a few minutes ago regarding a demo request, that i've made more than 3 weeks ago. So i said first if we can reschedule the phone to meeting to be 3 hours from now and he said fine. Then i asked him why it took you so long to get back to me? I made the request around 3 weeks ago. He got very angry saying to me and i quote " i tried to call you 3 times before, if your phone is not available so i can't reach you, do you understand such a concept? It's not scientific " I got shocked and said what start, let's cancel the whole thing so he said fine and hang up. Are you out of your mind? In a civilized world a sane person can't talk to a client like that. I can't find more words to describe what happened i just hope you understand that those rude, irresponsible people can't be your partners for a successful business, just think one more time before choosing them, How many Michaels do they have?
