PROS: I love its simplicity, and this helps me to be more focused on my work and what needs to be done and by whom. We use the SmartInbox feature to keep track of all interactions and engagements. It doesn’t matter whether we are a team of 2 or 2000, we are all allowed to keep track of our work and progress. Sprout Social offers great scheduling features so we can easily manage outgoing messages. We can even set permissions so we can help other members to practice sharing.

CONS: It can be complex during live event management, it can be cluttered during the event. Other social management platforms offer great workflow.

CONS: At times, Sprout would automatically sign me out (for no apparent reason). I'd have manually sign back in. Worse, whatever I was doing before it signed me out would lead me to lose everything. Tagging people within Facebook is useless with Sprout's extension. Sprout is far too costly for use in small businesses.

PROS: SproutSocial allows me to post on different platforms by using the Queue button. This is smart software and knows when to post the contents and the more active your followers are the better the algorithm. The product provides you with endless innovations. I love the ability to tag business pages into my posts. This feature is amazing. I have been using this product for 3 years and it has really improved and helped me to improve my business as well.

CONS: I wish I could leave some posts in the daily queue. To be more precise, I can hardly schedule upcoming posts. But on the other hand, this feature is very helpful and effective for keeping track of my posts.

PROS: SproutSocial is one of the best in the market today. Great and intuitive interface to perform daily tasks when it comes to social media management. You can do all the tasks required for management such as: listening, posting, engaging, responding and content creation. This SMM platform provides you with all functionalities you need. Great integrations, easy to set up various accounts, awesome listening tools and much more.

CONS: The feeds functions can be buggy. Also, sometimes I’m logged out in the middle of creating content and messages. They need to improve the reporting tool, it’s not as flexible as it should be. I can’t use the reports from an analytics.

PROS: Sprout Social does a tremendous job in streamlining social channel workflows. This facilitates in engagement and discussions within the community. Regardless if it's a single person or a team, Sprout is great in collaborative efforts. It functions efficiently in single-stream capabilities. If you're in need of a big picture for a client's social accounts, Sprout has your back.

CONS: Currently, there's nothing in particular that I hate. Maybe the time it takes to get around from novice to expert user entails a bit of work. Thing is, I feel it's a required step in acquiring efficiency and be skilled in managing social media and coming up with a strategy.

PROS: I love the ability to manage interactions with my audience in one social inbox. Also, the good thing about using this system is that you get powerful recommendations on who you should be connecting with, who you should engage with conversation, who you have effective interaction with and with who you haven’t had meaningful interaction with. When I started using the Sprout Social I finally understood how to be better with my target audience.

CONS: I like to see integrations with Instagram and Pinterest. Also I’d love to see an improvement in integration with Linedln. To be more specific, I would like to have tools to monitor the connections on my Linkedln, to view more profiles and manage endorsements.

PROS: Its UI is so easy to learn. It can streamline the monitoring process of a wide range of accounts in numerous platforms. The UI has everything you want so you won't miss out on re-tweets, messages, or other interaction. The way reports are set up makes it easier to comprehend what's going on in social accounts for every site(s) as a whole.

CONS: There's a bit of a learning curve at first. But I wind up getting lost in viewing a profile or seeking for an interaction. It may appear like things can be done in one click. Instead, it's a menu and clicking on profiles can then be made.

PROS: Sprout's customer support is one of the best out there. People I've worked with nearby became my friends since we've collaborated in ensuring that I'm knowledgeable of everything in Sprout. They even made sure I'm making the most of the platform. They went further by sending me SproutSocial onesie when I mentioned of me being offline for sometime since I was pregnant. Sprout is an all-in-one social program for analytics, side-by-side competitor comparison, and management.

CONS: If there's ever that thing that I was hoping they'd fulfill so I wouldn't have to resort to other platforms, it'd be their contest functionality. Currently, I'm running another third party platform to put out contests in one of my social channels. It'd be a great benefit if Sprout offered something like it.

PROS: I appreciate its crisp, clean design. I like its social reporting. In my personal opinion, most of today's social platforms are doing a terrible job in insight reporting. Before, I'd spend a number of hours downloading sheets from Twitter and Facebook. Now, I can do that and make engagement reports for clients in under a minute!

CONS: I was hoping we can easily managed ads from Sprout itself. I'd go back and forth debating about Sprout's pricing. Although in the end, they're worth going for. I'm currently running a small business. So it's expected for folks like me to be a bit watchful with what I spend.

PROS: What I want to say about sprout social is that the product is highly functional and customizable. I have full control on who has an access to accounts and who can see the posts and contents. I have used other social media products like HootSuite and Buffer and I can say that these options are very difficult. This product offers great reporting and metric tools and provides data so we can improve our social impact.

CONS: Quoted tweets are not fully supported, for e.g. if someone quotes my tweet it cannot be added to my total reach. It would be great if they can improve the speed of switching accounts to the Sprout mobile app.

PROS: In smartinbox you get all the activity your pages receive, this is especially helpful because the interaction with the followers are much simpler. Sprout Social provides you with great feature with the calendar layout so you can review posts and you get full picture of the times when you post your content. Also, the report feature is wonderful, this feature is easy to use and very intuitive. This is great tool to improve your management strategies.

CONS: I need an option to schedule photos into specific albums, an option to preview the post before I release it. These are the things I miss in Sprout Social.

PROS: The "Smart Inbox" allows for convenient management of more than one channel. For those who are managing critical social platforms, it's a perfect functionality. Their mobile app is exceptional. As management of social media is round-the-clock, doing all this in a web app is big. Doing them on-the-go is even better!

CONS: Visually, reporting is fantastic. Thing is, it barely scratches the surface. We had to opt for another tool to give us comprehensive analysis to our biggers clients. Social listening intended for Twitter also comes with a costly "Team" plan.

PROS: I have been using Sprout Social for years, they improved their whole system, it’s much faster, and they always implement new features. They keep up with the technology. My team can manage the messages and they can respond to the clients more professionally, and on the other side I am allowed to monitor all their progress by using smart inbox graph and reporting tools. It’s great and very useful thing to know who did what.

CONS: I would like to see some new features that would make monitoring smart inbox much faster, also I would like to have an option to hide blocked accounts. Also, they need to work on some bugs, the large export doesn’t load sometimes.

PROS: Sprout is great tool for managing the interactions with the clients. You are able to keep track of all conversations, and this is very helpful for tracking new opportunities. SmartInbox is great feature, it’s all about keywords. The community manager tool helps you to keep your inbox clean. There is a great analytic feature as well. We can keep track of opportunities thanks to tasks modules. Also, I love the ability to use timeline in a certain week or data.

CONS: They need to work on some improvements, but these are not dislikes, just a set of recommendations:

PROS: I like how visual and wide ranging the reports in the software are. They're amazing to look at and can simply be added into an your presentation. Data can easily be understood. I love how simple it is to review messaging across groups. You can easily add keywords into search.

CONS: I was hoping Facebook and Instagram accounts (public) would would wind up in the "Feeds" section for brands. I wish you have the option to schedule a number of posts in a single day without moving beyond the publication window. It'd be a plus to get a CSV document with posts, times, and dates so you can edit and include graphics once it's fully uploaded. I wish you get to move around posts in Calendar view. Doing scheduled posts is the least favorable aspect of my job and if they can be streamlined and be made easier, than that would be awesome!

PROS: We use SproutSocial to manage social media more effectively with great workflow. The system provides us with great features. I love the report features. We are allowed to brand with logo the reports we get, and to pull the reports quickly and easily for our clients. Everyone in our team is using Sprout, and our collaboration has improved.

CONS: We had some issues with selecting, we wanted to deselect all instead of deselecting manually one by one. And the Sprout team has helped us and they immediately implemented the “deselect option”. Great customer service.
