Sync.com Review

PROS: What I like about Sync.com is it gives all of their clients the security that they need in transferring files. I have never seen a company that offers high-end data encryption like Sync. Plus, they work with Cloud, so I know that all my data is in great hands.

CONS: Sync.com needs to step up its game by developing their mobile version. I see several issues that bother me, such as limited plan choices at higher rates. I tried using the free version for a few weeks, and I am not satisfied with its performance because it has specific restrictions on transferring data via the cloud.

PROS: Even if Sync.com is only a web-based platform, I can say that they do their best to secure all of my data. The transfer of files is fast, which is something that I appreciate very much. I also love utilizing one of its popular features, known as the vault. It allows you to copy files on your desktop and save it on vault for back up purposes.

CONS: I enjoy using Sync.com; however, it has limited support features. Some computers in the office still use Linux, and it's not compatible with the product. I hope that Sync.com can find a way to support other operating systems to have more clients.

PROS: I work in a law firm, so part of my job is to deal with external clients on a day to day basis. I have to send them emails containing confidential file attachments. I have to make sure that everyone’s privacy is always my number one priority by subscribing to Sync.com.

CONS: Sync is a great product when it comes to file encryption. It's easy to install and use that even a high school kid can do it. I like that it's pretty much affordable for small businesses because it's essential to keep all files protected. However, it would be great if the developers can find time to keep all the folders organized. Sometimes I spend more time searching the hard drive for the right folders because they all look the same. Using a unique icon would make a lot of difference.

PROS: One of the things that I appreciate about Sync.com is it's being straightforward. The program itself is not that complicated to learn. Plus you can sync files coming from different recipients in just a few minutes. All you need to do is wait and accept the files. They also provide security measures such as additional passwords to ensure that the file will only be accessed by the right person.

CONS: I find it hard to create file folders using my OS with MAC. I thought that Sync.com is pretty much compatible with any software in the market, but it seems like it's not true. I had to reboot my PC a few times to make this work, which is frustrating on my end.

PROS: I share files and documents with my team and clients, and I usually rely on Google drive to do these things for me. However, I feel more comfortable in using Sync.com because it has way more authentication process as compared to drive. There are specific files that I share that require a high level of security because they involve the company's financial figures. I know that I made the right decision in choosing Sync.com.

CONS: I think its time for the developer to consider upgrading the UI to make it look more attractive to young users like me. Also, they should work on specific issues like non-working links because these incidents happen sometimes, and I feel embarrassed that my client reported the problem to me.

PROS: I consider Sync as a unique file transfer product that I can rely on at all times. One thing that sets Sync apart from other products is that all files are stored outside the North American region. It means that data are protected and exempted from specific government regulations that deal with user privacy.

CONS: Sync.com is something that I would like the company to use for the longest time. With this product, we never have to worry about malicious threats because all files are encrypted. However, searching for files in the cloud platform is not that easy, especially if you have a lot in store. It would be nice if they could install a search button on the upper part of the page to make things more convenient for consumers.

PROS: At first, I was hesitant to try out a new file-sharing application. But when I found out that Sync is cloud-based, I changed my mind and decided to share some of my documents. True to its word, all my files were a hundred percent encrypted so no one can steal them.

CONS: Sync is an excellent and reliable platform. Not many companies can surpass what Sync has done to its subscribers. The only opportunity that I can see is for them to improve the speed of the platform. I find it a little bit slow or idle for my liking.

PROS: I’ve been using other products to store my data, especially large files, documents, and reports that I’m using for work purposes. I’ve tried using the usual Google Docs and Dropbox, which works fine for me. However, I’m looking for a storage platform that offers multiple authentications to keep confidential files secured whenever I share them with other people, such as employment contracts, salaries, and anything to do with money matters. What I like about Sync.com is that it works with all devices that I own. I was able to install it without any issues in my office computer, cellphone, tablet, and laptop. Having this platform means a lot to me since I can do a lot of work even after office hours without compromising any of our data, especially when I am using a public WIFI server, which is very risky. Sync.com is very easy to use and learn, so you’ll enjoy storing more data without taking up space on your computer because its cloud-based. It is available in several types of plans that will suit your business needs. All I can say is that when it comes to encryption, security features, and tracking of users, I can always vouch that Sync.com offers the best file sharing service.

CONS: Sync.com is considered as one of the most competitive cloud-based storage platforms nowadays. I love using this product because of its upgraded features and authentication process that sets them apart from other file-sharing products that are currently out in the market. The only downside of Sync.com for me is the limited storage and high rate. I am hoping that they could come up with an affordable plan that offers unlimited storage, which will make may of their clients happy.

PROS: I greatly rely on Sync to store both doc and pics on the cloud. It’s better than keeping it on my computer because it can easily get infected by an unknown virus and I won’t be able to retrieve it anymore. With Sync I am assured that all my files are properly encrypted and it's being kept safe by the developers.

CONS: I am sometimes having issues with the Sync app in terms of upload speed especially when the files are quite heavy like charts, graphs, and excel based reports. The problem is it becomes slower when I use the mobile version so it leaves me with no choice but to switch on the more reliable desktop version.

PROS: Sync.com is recommended for all kinds of computer users. Whether you are a student, a regular employee, a small or big time business owner, it is always essential to have a platform that can take good care of all your data. Sync is a lot similar to Dropbox, but it comes with better safety protocols. That is one of the reasons why I decided to apply for a subscription because I know that it's worth paying for.

CONS: I wish I could easily reach out to a Sync product expert or TSR whenever I have issues with the platform. The hotline is available only during office hours, so in cases wherein I need help in the middle of the night, I have no choice but to wait till the next day. As a paying customer, I think that I deserve real-time assistance. Also, the app's speed is slow, especially when I'm about to share photos in Jpeg format. It was explained to me that the added encryption process slows down things, but I would appreciate it if they can find a way to make things faster.

PROS: It's easy to install on your computer and sync multiple files in just a few seconds. Using Sync makes the processes of sending and receiving documents more efficient and a lot safer.

CONS: I have compared Sync with other similar products, and I can say that it falls short when it comes to storage space. I have seen products that come with unlimited cloud storage, which would be great. I also have to be extra careful in transferring files from my computer to Sync because it can’t determine if the data is safe or infected.

PROS: Many apps specialize in storing and transferring files because you can never tell when your data will be compromised. That is where Sync.com comes into the picture by offering you a hassle-free cloud-based storage service for a reasonable price. Plus, you get to avail yourself of additional lifetime free storage whenever you successfully refer someone to become a Sync user.

CONS: I have tried downloading Syn.com in my iPhone and Android Phone, but I was disappointed with its performance. It took me a couple of tries to successfully share files, and there are even instances where the transfer has failed. I prefer using my phone since I am always on the go, but I have no choice but to use my laptop instead.

PROS: We have a small team that works from the same set of folders and files using Sync. It works great!

CONS: Needs better search capabilities
