TeamGantt Review

PROS: TeamGantt makes charting a lot easier. Reporting and sharing things to clients on available resources is fantastic. Things appear more efficient. Customer support is nothing short outstanding.

CONS: Being a freelancer, I like its "individual plan" option. Its features are superb. I'm never hindered in utilizing the platform. Since I freelance, the option of adding people is big price jump.

PROS: I don’t know which one is better: Gannt charts with awesome view options or time/ability tracking. We are also impressed by its simplicity, color customization codes, reliable and timely support and learning media, search filters, and incomparable innovation tempo.

CONS: We are one of those clients that are not exactly fancied by dev and support, we are always asking them to add something. The worse thing about it is that we don't actually need something, we just want it. Make their lives easier, they're perfect. Don’t be like us!

PROS: Being able to map more than one project across the quarter in Gantt format. Assigning tasks in these projects to members of the team. A handy functionality is its color-coded notifications whenever a team member has too many hours in one day. The pre-installed time-tracking functionality has also been a big help.

CONS: There's no burndown chart function that gives off the remaining hours. Although this is shown by means of a percentage bar for every project and task done. These would aggregate all to the complete percentage bar for more than one project. This happens to quite handy.

PROS: It organizes my work and gives me comprehensive view on my projects and access to my data. Works good with single projects too. TG charts are awesome for updates, and you can share them with third parties and capitalization partners.

CONS: Too many email reminders, users are simpy overwhelmed by them. Selecting a weekly reminder option would be much much better. Except of this, the program is fantastic, I simply enjoy using its friendly and intuitive interface.

PROS: TG will reveal all those little planning hints that you never knew you needed. Once you adopt it, it will be equally purposeful for you and your customers to see how progress is going. Updates are made easily, so the software is a total gain!

CONS: Nothing this far.

PROS: You use it without thinking, it just fits! Instead of figuring solutions, you just focus on project, and the program does the rest. I know how difficult it is to administer large projects, and to stay organized at the same time, that's why I recommend TeamGantt!

CONS: The interface doesn't allow for the typing speed we're all used to, but I think that's due to my internet connection. Besides, heavy apps are complex, nobody expects them to have the speed of light.

PROS: Great visual UI and dependencies. The visual aesthetic is simple and contains more than one possibilities when it comes to formatting. Highly useful in assigning individuals, hours, and inclusiong of comments for certain tasks. We picked TeamGantt since since we've already started to plan for a highly complex project with tasks and dependecies that are overlapping each other.

CONS: We were in need of planning a complex project with more than a hundred tasks within a 10-year period. It was hard with the platform we're dealing with now. It limits things only to days and hours. Not so much in terms of years and months.

PROS: You wouldn’t believe how simple it is! Using it will be the most streamlined procedure in your company, because there is a great support team to meet your requirements. I'm not that professional, I heaped the poor people with questions, but they always managed to answer. Great for creating and editing projects, and enhancing good timing and task accomplishment.

CONS: Whatever I say would be exaggerated, the product is just amazing.

PROS: Didn't pay above par to get it, and it turned out to be a great solution. I follow progress and clarify procedures, all the way until I push my initial scheme in the proposal in a way that looks well-managed and sellable. The program lets others collaborate and observe, which is why it delivers proper result.

CONS: Not blown away by their speed, refreshment mode can also be an issue.

PROS: It's easy to utilize. Simple yet packed with powerful features. Since it's online, it makes it an amazing option those collaborating externally. Easy sharing of schedule, tasks, and overview of a project to members of the team.

CONS: Nothing much to hate. Everything is curated well and working. Even those who are new to Gantt charts can easily be familiar with it.

PROS: As an experienced project manager, I am able to estimate when software adds value to a company's business, or when it creates unnecessary clutter instead. This program was absolutely valuable to me, as to any other member of my team, even if we never used gantt charts before. It is very easy to learn and everybody likes it!

CONS: Who would dislike TeamGantt, I don’t know such person!

PROS: The thing tha I like with TeamGantt is being able to convert tasks into sub-groups/milestones in my big projects. This gives the chance in creating a repeated to-do list for tasks that require completion on a big project. I utilize the milestones for that "switch-flip" instance whenever I click the "Publish" button for a new blog. It keeps my manager in the loop on how the task was accomplished.

CONS: I'm overwhelmed by its wide range of options that me and my co-workers don't really know about. We had to go through a learning session with the rep on this one. Now several new features are being integrated into our system!

PROS: We got ourselves a virtual office! All we do is log in, and all data appears on the screen: projects that can be adjusted, deadliness that can me moved, schedules that can be rescheduled, and most importantly-milestones that can be automatically updated. We worked with similar charts, but nothing synced so well with Basecamp data, I think that's he biggest benefit. Regardless of what you do, you can't keep an eye on multiple programs that are supposed to lead you to the same result. I'm not gonna brag about being an expert, but for what I know, this saves time. And it's good to have it in all departments!

CONS: When a task is assigned, it is assigned. You can't leave it for another day, and you can’t involve a second person. As for the projects, you can look at each separately, an ordered list is not available.

PROS: The program reminds of MS Projects, without the annoying ribbon at the top. The software intuitive interface makes my job so easy! I use it to create projects, assign roles, and follow progress. I also took advantage of the template creation option because I have many similar projects to deal with and I get confused at times. I upload documents for each task, and I love being able to add notes and to email them to concerned parties. Finally, the program is incredibly easy to use, and comes with awesome guidelines for inexperienced users.

CONS: I wish it could do everything for me, I'd just close my eyes and let it work! If you ask me, I'd suggest functions that allow time tracking from multiple roles, but I'm not even sure that one is possible. We were looking for this even in our previous products, unsuccessfully. Maybe one day!

PROS: I like how I get to make use of my charts from just about anywhere. All I need is an internet connection and an iPad when it comes to my contract work in NZ. I trave a lot so having the convenience to log in and getting updating schedules has been a big help. It's browser-based so it makes things easy to use whether I'm on my tablet or desktop PC.

CONS: I'd love to include a Graphical Work Breakdown Structure module. It's something that I hate. It's more of something that I'd wish they can include.

PROS: TeamGantt provides awesome PM tools. While many would have varied opinion on the traditional "waterfall" way, you don't need to think of it in such a manner. The dynamic tools and features in sorting tasks has made things quick in scanning team tasks. That keeps everyone in the loop.

CONS: We like seeing further integrations. We couldn't find that tool that would take over everything. Right now, our organizations still depend on Basecamp. It'd be a treat if TeamGantt could go back on older Basecamp integrations that haven't been looked into for years.

PROS: As a former MS project user, I was a bit suspicious about working in a more complex environment, but I never regretted it. What was supposed to be complex turned out to be even simplier, and I handle projects with no more than 5 clicks. Certain features, however, require more digging than MS Projects, but that's totally fine for the functionality you get. Finally, no, nobody paid me to do this. I love this product because it gets the job done.

CONS: We use it in all departments and big groups , but nobody ever complained. My only suggestion is for them to introduce Active Directory Integration (SSO), or at least to get an ITIL certificate.

PROS: I blow hot and cold on new software, but this one impressed me. I enjoy making comprehensive plans, meeting deadlines accordingly, assigning tasks to the right people, and obviously-using automated distribution of updates among participants.

CONS: I'm working on a pilot project, and everything is going smooth. At this point, I can’t say anything bad about it. Something tells me I won’t do that anytime soon.

PROS: TeamGantt is a fantastic tool. It's not limited to project management. It's great for deadline management in personal manufacturing. I get control the demands of my illustrations.

CONS: I miss not having a mobile app or a mobile version of the site. Evertime I make modifications on the Gantt graph on my smartphone, I'd have a hard time tapping the right areas.

PROS: TeamGantt will schedule your projects, and will empower team work via assigning and discussing tasks. Once work is distributed, it will allow you to 'screen' the progress, meaning that all errors and potential failures will be visible from the beginning. My personal favorite is its color coding-I enjoy having assignees doing cross-projects displayed in a recognizable manner. Overall, keeps things under control.

CONS: I don’t like the Scheduling view, it tortures me a lot until I finally manage to drag a group above/below another one. Instead, I go to List Layouts, and I do manual reordering. Unless you know the hierarchy be heart, things can get a little bit messy. Another thing that is not that adirable is the lack of detailed deadline assignment-the system doesn't accept data such as 0.5 days, and you have to insert the exact number of hours forecasted for that task. Now that I started, the exported PDFs look kind of ugly. I mean, they are brief, concise and everything, but they don't look like something you'd read instantly.

PROS: It's purely cloud based. Very simple to utilize. My team gets to access the software on any mobile device or PC. They get to look into on what they're tasked to work on for that day.

CONS: So far, there's nothing that I ran into that I dislike. There were certain functionality within the paid version that I was hoping would come in for free. But then again, I undestand that people need to pay for its extra handy features.
