ELMA Community Edition is free. That means you don’t have to shell out money to use this no-cost, very user-friendly BPM Platform. That being said, ELMA Community edition is a not a lightweight platform in terms of features and capabilities as it comes with a plethora of tools and functionalities.

What Problems Will ELMA Community Solve?

Scenario #1

Managing the everyday processes of a company; consider the Leave Request process: Jerry has to ask for a leave of absence for his vacation, although it can be a sick leave, a work from home program or any other type of leave. To do so, Jerry needs to fill in a request, get it signed by his superior, who first has to check the working schedule in order to allocate resources. Then Jerry has to take the request to the HR department, where it is filed, and then the HR notifies payroll.

With ELMA, every step of this process is automatic. Instead of running around the office with a paper request, Jerry has to make only one click in ELMA to start the Leave Request process. He selects the type of leave and specifies the date. He can do it even from his home; all he needs is internet access!
