Freightview is an easy-to-setup and use freight transportation management system, which allows you to see all your negotiation rates in one place without requiring you to visit multiple carrier websites. The publisher claims that it only takes around ten minutes for the initial setup to complete, and all that’s needed in the beginning is your contact information, carriers/brokers you work with and shipping locations. Once the carriers/brokers have been selected, the software takes under 48 hours to connect you to all the carriers/brokers, while many carriers connect instantly.
Software’s seamless and instant API technology directly connects to carrier’s systems for real-time rates updating. You only need to setup the carriers once, and the software automatically updates any future changes. In the case of special rates, if you can get them from carrier’s website, the software can also display them accordingly. All the shipment data can be exported to a CSV file, while users can also use the bundled analytics to negotiate rates with the carriers better.
The software currently only supports LTL freight within the United States and to and from Canada, without any limitation to the number of users you can add to the Freightview account. Freightview offers a 30-day free trial without requiring you to enter any credit card information, giving you complete control over the shipping processes.

PROS: Ease of Use - price is average although there are some for free, we have had a lot of problems the last while with Freightview not being able to quote during the busiest time of the day, it seems there is something almost daily I am chatting back and forth with customer service, in the beginning they were very good in getting back to us in a timely manner, but the last while we are only a number
CONS: API/EDI with the carriers are down a lot.
