Frontify is a web-based brand management software designed for companies, agencies, and enterprises of all sizes, enabling them to enhance brand consistency to stakeholders inside and outside their organization. The brand management solution is described as easy to use and very flexible.

It allows companies to create personalized and customized style guides, which specify how their brand should be designed and what components/elements it should have. They can edit their style guides by uploading logos, images, fonts, icons, videos, color palettes, and notes.

Frontify is also considered as a digital asset management solution; which organizes brand assets, style guides, and brand related files in one place. It offers a brand portal, enabling companies to create teasers that highlight their branding definitions, tools, and UI patterns. Furthermore, the brand management software allows users to work on their brand designs through a simplified project workflow.

Supporting multiple languages, Frontify allows the creation of style guides on the web. Through this functionality, companies will be able to promote and enhance brand consistency across their internal and external teams. Style guides help them specify what logos, colors, fonts, text styles, illustrations, photos, icons, and UI elements should be used by their teams and how they should be used.

In addition, style guides can also be edited and enhanced. Users can edit their style guides in many ways. They will be able to combine the individual colors they defined into color palettes, and export these color palettes or color packages to photo editing applications. They can add fonts from Google Web Fonts and Typekit.  In showing how logos and images should be used in presentations, they can include annotations. Frontify allows users to compile the patterns of UI elements to one CSS file.

Furthermore, Frontify enables users to share their style guides with the other members of their team; so they will be able to view them or make changes, depending on their specific roles. Style guides can also be shared by creating a public link.

To simplify and improve collaboration on brand design projects, Frontify provides a centralized workspace. In this workspace, brand assets are assigned to  team members and tasks are delegated. Designers, web developers, editors,  project managers, and owners can interact among themselves with regards to the design and project they’re working on.

As an example, if they are working on a particular web design, a sample design is uploaded; and the team members discuss on its details. The editor can send feedback to a designer and add notes and comments directly on the uploaded design. The designer then can upload new versions of the design until all issues are marked as resolved.
