Mailbird Review

PROS: All of my different email accounts are brought together.

CONS: Can't think of anything

PROS: Unified inbox, multiple account types (Google, Outlook, ProtonMail, IMAP, etc) fast searching, in-app integrations and a clean, easy UX/UI.

CONS: Nothing that cannot be fixed with a change to settings or contacting support. Pretty much works out of the box.

PROS: Mailbird allows you to view multiple email accounts and multiple calendars in one place.

CONS: The options for formatting the text in an email aren't as sophisticated as I'd like. In particular, when I copy and paste information from Word to Mailbird, bullets and indentation sometimes get lost, and line spacing from word doesn't look right in Mailbird, and can't be adjusted.

PROS: Easy to use, works with pretty much any email (and some other products, such as WhatsApp and Facebook). I've always loved desktop mail clients. I've never liked GMail's web-interface, so this product allows me to use Gmail and enjoy the benefits of a desktop client. Part of the problem with GMail is that it's different (weird). No folders, just labels. Most desktop clients end up downloading duplicates of all of your messages. This product knows how to deal with GMail. With Outlook.com, this product still allows you to use aliases as well. I mean, this is nearly a perfect email client in this age of web-based email.

CONS: I wouldn't mind seeing some sort of scripting engine for pre-send or post-receive email in an effort to beef up the filtering system. (I'm going to date myself, but I had a very old email client on OS/2 called PM-Mail that was *EXCELLENT* at this. But that's a very minor nit.

PROS: Unified inbox, great sorting and organizational features, tons of add-ons, themes, customizability, the ability to drag messages between accounts. Mailbird has all of the features that Outlook was always missing.

CONS: None.

PROS: is an email client like there might be others, but mailbird has by its which is considerably faster, find my emails immediately in searches and has an extremely reduced cost compared to competitors

CONS: no problem as the software is constantly updated even with implementations that at the moment I did not consider necessary but then you use them because you cannot do without them

PROS: Being able to monitor multiple email accounts in a single application is great. I monitor about 10 email accounts and I can see the emails in each separate account or aggregated as a whole, as if one account. I can also move emails into and out of each account's sub-folder system, which helps organization. Another final feature that I find helpful is being able to change the send-from account to another account within a thread, letting me respond from a more appropriate account. I am certain that there are other, more advanced features (and apps accessible) within Mailbird, but I generally use it for email management.

CONS: I can only think of a couple of things that could improve: having more composition tools for text editing, line spacing, etc., and having an undo feature. What's built in now is certainly okay, but there is always room for improvement

PROS: Very intuitive and pleasant UI, packed with features but not overwhelming to use, great multi-account management, and the app integration (Google Calendar, To-do, Google Docs & Drive, Evernote, Asana, Trello, etc.) makes productivity such a seamless experience. Switched from Thunderbird, which as an advanced user, I love and have used for years, but while very configurable, it's a bit outdated, clunky, and tedious to set up. Mailbird provides everything I need and is excellent value, not to mention the developers are very active in improving the product and customer service is excellent.

CONS: I had some initial stability issues but they were swiftly corrected by the devs. The only thing I miss is perhaps more customization for advanced users.

PROS: - Easy to use - mixed email inbox - app integration

CONS: Maybe they can improve the native calendar and could create a mixed calendar accounts like the unifed email inbox (anyway its perfect, you can see all the accounts in the same place).

PROS: I have long been looking for an alternative to ms outlook, and I finally found it. App has a lot of functins and integrations, it's simply to use and has a clearly emails view

CONS: Some bugs, but team works great and a lot is now fixed.

PROS: Simple and yet fantastic in managing multiple email accounts. Apart from email, multiple calendars, To do from different accounts can be integrated. I mean it really made my emails looking cleaner in spite of me being lousy in organizing my files / emails.

CONS: I don't know what should I complain about. Few minor aesthetic points like when an email arrives, the notification doesn't say it in which account (yahoo, gmail or what), the fonts & background of menu panel is not greatly customizable. The Mailbird team is already looking into these in their future releases.

PROS: Awesome tech support Timely updates New features roll out quickly It's better than MS Outlook crap by far, for what I use it for. Syncs with Google mail and calendar with zero issues

CONS: The settings window is unresponsive for about 5-6 secs after it launches

PROS: Clean and intuative UI with builtin apps such as WhatsApp, whcih I use a lot while working from home to communicate with colleagues. Mailbird also makes it really easy to manage multiple email accounts, and the unified inbox is great, all my personal emails are part of the ubnified inbox whoch makes management easier while keeping a seperation between work and personal life easier.

CONS: The app does lack some features, built in spam filter is one, but most mail providers have these in their web interfaces now so not massive issue. Howeve, the Mailbird team are constantly adding more features on a pretty regular basis.

PROS: The software is always "in progress", introducing new features, according suggestions and feedback of the users. Mailbird has also a alpha version that any user can test.

CONS: Still waiting for return receipt, but the team is working on this

PROS: User friendly with a lot of app for integration. You can use a lot of functions on one interface.

CONS: I couldn't find anything problematic with this mail client. It's very simple and clear to understand how to use it.

PROS: Friendliest interface of all the email clients I've used. Very easy to manage multiple email accounts on one screen. Fully customizable. Another thing that I found formidable was the self-configuration of the accounts as soon as we entered them.

CONS: Until now, nothing!

PROS: Mailbird does just about everything you could ever ask an email client to do. They just recently implemented moving emails between accounts just like in Outlook. You have access to many 3rd party addons as well. The unified Inbox is salvation for those of us that handle many accounts.

CONS: Complete Google integration with labels is a work in progress but shouldn't be an issue to keep anyone from using Mailbird.

PROS: Simplifies the email process significantly by unifying multiple emails accounts. Also includes calendar integration making a one-stop email solution. Very easy to use. single or combined view of mail accounts.

CONS: Each mail account has it's own folder/file structure and need to convert to EML if coming from Outlook and its PST file/folder structure. Outlook allows additional PST file/folders via a separate "data" folder, so one can keep mail from any mail account in one place for reference and documentation (software licenses and other email from online purchases, etc. regardless of what mail account the original message was received. Since these PST files reside on your PC you have permanent storage of sent and received emails from all accounts in one place in one file folder structure. That way you don't have to rely on the email account and any limitations they may have on message storage and retention.

PROS: Simple, easy to use. Good system for raising tickets Very good that for a simple one off fee for this software, there is then ongoing support.

CONS: None really

PROS: Lots of features, Advantage Search (implemented lately) has it all ans can connect directly from within mailbird to facebook, whatsapp and Linkdln.

CONS: to many Bugs

CONS: Improved native attachment handling for documents, and an improved WYSIWYG editor.
