Online Sales Demo:
A salesperson is on a call with a potential new client. The sales rep wants to demonstrate his/her company’s product and services and needs to present the content from his/her computer screen to the client. But the client is cautious and does not trust nor want to download unknown software. Plus the client has issues with their company network and firewalls which block unknown downloads.
The salesperson starts a Mikogo session on their end and invites the client to join the screen sharing meeting via the HTML Viewer. The client connects to the meeting from within their browser. No downloads. No plugins. No Flash, Java or ActiveX. The HTML Viewer is just visiting any website – all the client needs is a browser and an Internet connection.
Online Meeting:
A financial advisor would like to discuss his client’s accounts and investment opportunities. He has prepared all the files and input all the client’s financial data into his financial planning software application. Unfortunately his client, like many, is too busy to make the trip over town for a face-to-face chat. The financial advisor could email all the data to him, along with the investment options, and hope that the client understands everything. PROS: As my business operates in the virtual world, it is imperative that I have a software that enables me to initiate and host online conferences with my team, partners, and clients. Talking over the phone is just cumbersome and difficult. With Mikogo, I am able to talk to my clients and discuss with them key issues, tax returns, proposals, etc.
CONS: There is now downside whatsoever. I love it now that I can record our conferences for documentation.

PROS: Like all screen sharing applications - Mikogo allows a user to share their screen with a client download and a few clicks. It's ok for simple one way presentations for a few people.
CONS: I found Mikogo to be very buggy with screen freezes and slowness. The move people you have on the session the more severe the problems become. Customer service was weak - non existent with the free version and poor with the paid version.

PROS: The setup was very quick and I am able to connect to my clients in an instant. The best part is that I can ask my clients to connect to my system and the process is not very difficult. No one of them had any trouble with the process. I have heard that new features were rolled out recently. Can't wait to try them out.
CONS: I don't have any complaints or dislike. I just wanted to get my hands on the new features and see how they can impact my business. Would also be great if they inform me of these new applications as well as the date of their releases.

PROS: The Mikogo software simply delivers and works as advertised. We once used Skype when we need to have video conferences but it simply doesn't have that screen sharing function that we needed. Mikogo does and it really allowed us to maximize our time and efforts. It also comes with a handy pointer.
CONS: I have recently started using it so I have not experienced any issue so far.
