Whenever you need to, you can email the entire group using a simple template, or even do some bulk editing when necessary.

Unlike most small biz CRMs, Nutshell displays contacts in a comprehensive manner, because clicking on the person’s name is enough to see the entire history of your relationship, including the latest emails and conversations. The same window allows you to contact them on the spot, arrange a face-to-face meeting, or edit their records.

Lead generation and tracking sales

When it comes to generating leads and tracking sales, Nutshell allows you to define a price according to your own criteria, and adjust that price to the market where your product/service is about to be placed. The system lumps all opportunities together, as it assigns people, products, sources and competitors to each lead, making it possible to track them all at once. That doesn’t stop you from distributing leads in a different way, though, or assigning unique tasks while the lead is created.

Great reporting

Finally, Nutshell is a great reporting system. The user can pull out detailed performance charts, high level summaries, sales forecasts and analytics, and team activity lists. The same as other documents exported from this system, reports can be saved to your device as CSV files.

Pros:
Nutshell is easy to use, with great functionality, and its value is top-notch. It does a great job of storing the information we need, making it easy as well to make notes, compare customer and lead reports, communicate with prospects, and update information on the go so we can turn those leads into paying customers.

Cons:
Sometimes I have to do a bit more navigation to get the lead reports that I want. But now I have all my frequently used reports bookmarked.

Pros:
You can easily enter your data without wasting too much time on clicking around. Also it works great with an iPhone app like any good CRM app should. Customer service is very helpful. In addition, the goal setting feature is something I like the most. Also the dashboard counter that shows the progress of your projects is great.

Cons:
I think they need to work on linking the Nutshell with other social media profiles such as Linkedln, Facebook, etc. so I can easily see what contacts are on Linkedln or Facebook or other social channels. In my opnion they need to work more on their interface as well, to add some more modern look to it.
