PROS: Octiv is one application built specially for the user. Our sales team has the flexibility to either add existing content provided by marketing or add their own custom material. It is simple to clone from successful documents yet secure enough to ensure legal details are not modified. Tracking activity is easy to view and alerts can be set up with CRM integration. Administrators also have plenty of options to ensure that security is enforced even with multiple users in place.
CONS: As an Administrator it is sometimes hard to know which security fields should be turned on, but reaching out to support has always resolved our issues.

These include when the client views the proposal, which pages they've lookin into, and the amount of time spent going through each proposal.
CONS: The part that I don't favor most is the URL being sent over to each client. This is ridiculous. Relevance can already be seen in Tinder. Some clients even told me they thought that I sent them a link to my "dating" profile. There should be some functionality that involves the customizations of URL.

PROS: How Octiv defines the concept of assets really enjoyable. It looks at assets as a collection of images, content and text snippets that can be continually revised and used by simply dragging and dropping the asset into the document. It has provided us a single authoritative source for proposal content where all assets are located and helps us determine the most up-to-date content.
CONS: Some of the software WYSIWYG editor tools (particularly tables and ordered/unordered lists) don't behave like you would expect when you export the document as a PDF or Word file. Everything works fine in the web view of the proposals however. I was able to find workarounds for the issues I was experiencing, but they are not very intuitive.

PROS: I like its modern interface. It's really easy to use. Once we included initial work in setting up templates and including assets, it's a lot easier now in preserving and updating proposals as well as the process of training as we move along. Report features are awesome. I like seeing comprehensive analytics of the sales team as one and certain metrics related for each proposal.
CONS: We've had issues editing our own proposal template. We gave it a try in making our proposals image-based and attractive to look at. Linking images in documents are hard. But I'm able to get things to work through code edting.

PROS: We love how Octiv integrates into Salesforce and can pull data right from the opportunity into the proposal. Then the triggers once the deal is signed creates an automated process for when we seal the deal. It's been great! I also have to say that the latest update with the live editor is awesome! Now, I don't need to have 3 tabs open whenever I create a proposal.
CONS: The formstack integration needs some work. I believe there may be a way to better transition from the signature to the payment. Also on the top where it says "Form" I would like to be able to change it to whatever the name of the form is. A deeper Salesforce integration would be nice as well, perhaps have it run natively within Salesforce.

PROS: I love Octiv's visibility when sending proposals. The response time we have when we get notification of views has changed our sales process for the better. Now, our team has a better grasp on proposals, the information for our deals is available indefinitely, and it’s helped us become more organized. It has also helped streamline our onboarding process for non-sales staff as well. We are excited about utilizing the new Pitch platform for more dynamic product presentations and the like.
CONS: I have yet to find a dislike. It is easy to use and they have a very quick support team that is always available if we have an issue.

PROS: It's simple to utilize. Works well with Sales force. It streamlined our processes through the setting of proper expectation when initially signing on as a customer. Before Octiv, the proposal would appear a bit differnt from the renewa and we'd see ourselves spending a lot of time making lengthy explanations of renewal to the client.
CONS: Not having the ability to edit a proposal after its publications. There were a lot of times where we were making several versions of a proposal. We had to copy and re-publish them and then sending a client another link. It'd be a huge help and would save a great deal of time if we didn't have to always come up with a new proposal whenever we're editing.

PROS: Octiv is very easy to use and it works well with our Salesforce setup. In the past the initial proposals would look so different from the renewal that we would find ourselves spending so much time time explaining the renewal to the client. Being able to have templates and be able to set proper expectations for renewals to our new customers has helped us in streamlining our proposal process.
CONS: Many times we create 2-3 versions of the same proposal and we have to copy and republish and then send new link to the client. It would be extremely helpful and a time saver if we didn't have to create a new proposal every time we make an edit. Also, we've had issues with other users not being able to view each others proposals. This makes it very difficult when a client changes ownership internally.

PROS: I like Octiv for letting us put together in a matter of minutes. I no longer have to spend a day or so to have something ready for the client; it makes it is easy to pull everything together. The ability to track the views of the document is tied with production time for what I like best. I can easily tell if the document has been viewed, how long it was viewed for, etc. which helps me with the follow up I need to complete.
CONS: When i have an extremely customized and unique document to create, it can be a little harder to customize, but this is not a frequent issue.
It greatly streamlined and standardized the entire process.

PROS: I like having that in standard proposals. Anything can be placed together in minutes. This is better than spending the entire day (or more) to get something for a client. What I love most is tracking document views.
CONS: It can be difficult to created whenver I'm in possession of a cutomized dic. Although this issue comes every now and then.

PROS: I lover our team's visibility when it comes to sending out proposals. Response times whenever we receive views alerts has revolutionize our sales process. The compliments we've been receiving regarding our proposal process has been excellent. Customers like how it's easy to use, being able to push forward, and appreciating its appearance.
CONS: So far, there's nothing that I hate. Tinderbox is a breeze in terms of usage. Support is always there when you need them.

PROS: I like the assets concept within Tinderbozx. Assets contains content and texts that can be revised and utilized by means of draggin and dropping the asset in the doc.Before, we had content pieces for proposals that have been stash just about everywhere. Tbis makes it hard to seek out updated content. Tinderbox assets fosters a single authoritative source when it comes to proposal content.
CONS: Certain WYSIWYG editor tools won't behave like you'd expect when exporting the doc as a Word or PDF file. Just about everything functions reasonably well when proposals are in web-view. Thing is, our response to bids would entail a submision of a Word or PDF file. I can spot workarounds for problems that we've run into.
