Oracle BPM Review

PROS: Our company has been struggling with our current processes. Our output and revenue suffered for the past years. We decided to acquire Oracle BPM to help us fix our broken processes and realign them accordingly. One of the issues that we were able to address is when each process request would be approved. With Oracle, we could expedite things and automate more than 50% of our tasks, which was a massive relief for us. I can say that this BPM tool was able to implement smart changes in the company, and things finally got better and better.

CONS: Based on my personal experience, I would have to say that Oracle BPM needs to step up their game to become more competitive. It needs to improve its current features and the majority of its functionality. One of the significant issues that we have to deal with is system issues that crash from time to time. However, I appreciate all the support team's efforts to give us a better experience.

PROS: Oracle BPM is a unique tool that every business should have since it helps create and implement processes. If employees are very good with technology and software, then they won't have any issues in using this application.

CONS: Oracle BPM is beneficial in terms of features and functionality. However, the learning curve may be steeper than expected because there are many things to learn. Although the drop and drag features are easy to use, I'm afraid that the program is still quite complicated for an ordinary person to use.

PROS: It's one of the most competitive software in the market in terms of features that helps create a smoother process or workflow. One of the things that I appreciate about this software is its ability to work together with other corporate applications, making it easier to create quality process content and maintain excellent output.

CONS: They can probably do a lot better in terms of server layout. Make it more structured and user friendly.

PROS: One of the best and most reliable platforms to help put your business finances into check. We utilize Oracle BPM to initiate purchase requests and track down the status of each of them religiously. Usually, each application would have to undergo several steps before it gets approved by an OIC. BPM is there to monitor each request until such time that the merchandise is delivered into our site. That will only be the time that can proceed into closing off work order. We also use Oracle BPM to keep records of our past purchases and keep track of our expenses, which keeps our records well organized.

CONS: Oracle BPM works on Javascript; however, I do not prefer this option. Since it has too many versions, there are instances that it would bot be compatible with the software that would result in errors and delays in our process implementation.

PROS: Taking care of the enrollment process, creating online forms for college applications, and creating online modules and quizzes are made possible. Also, Oracle BP gives us a sense of security, knowing that all our information is kept safely within the platform. It helps businesses and establishments grow by providing a step by step process guide and implementation.

CONS: Been an avid user of BPM for years already, and I’m satisfied with its process output for most of the time. The only thing that bugs me is system issues, which logs me out with no prior notice.

PROS: Streamlining our current processes is one of our goals this 2020. That is why we decided to look for a tool that can help us out. I like the way oracle BPM looks into problems and comes up with innovative solutions. All documents that were created are meant to simplify most of our tasks, such as approval of procured materials, leave credits, order creation, logistics, etc.

CONS: I can say that BPM has some shortcomings, but I believe that something can be done to make things better. One of the aspects that they need to work on is the level of service and expertise that they should provide to their clients. BPM is not just an ordinary tool; users tend to struggle at the beginning. That is why they should be equipped with enough people who can provide immediate support.

PROS: It is one of the best software meant to create and document business workflows. It helps create step-by-step guidelines on how to execute each process successfully, resulting in more significant improvements within the business. It also takes a good look at the current business structure, identifies loopholes, and gradually finds sensible solutions to existing issues. Manual processes are eventually revamped and eventually turns into automation, which is favorable to the majority. All documented processes, results of ongoing studies, and investigations are safely stores into one application, making it convenient for all users.

CONS: One of the major hindrances of using Oracle BPM is the complexity of its user interface. The app itself can cause a first time user or a non-technical person to feel intimidated because of not having an idea on how to use the product and what to expect later on. However, there is training provided, but it's not enough to learn the app for me. You have to exert significant time and effort to know how the overall program works. Another concern is that users don't get any feedback if an existing process has any ongoing issues. You have to do the extra work of finding out the status of some things.

PROS: It is an easy application and implementation of processes that are ideal for beginner to expert users. I like the drag and drop features best because it gets the job done in no time. Integrating it with Process Cloud will ensure you the best results.

CONS: I'm not too fond of it when I encounter issues with Oracle JDev because some documents would automatically close without saving it. I feel bad because it means that I have to start all over.

PROS: Creating online forms using Oracle BPM makes things more simple for everyone in the company. The way the system is designed and its functionality are helpful to all end users who would like to develop their process. I love its ability to store a vast amount of documented processes into the Metadata Repository Services, making it convenient to search for past references, made readily available anytime. Creating a complex work process has been made easier using BPM Oracle; that is why many big-time corporations prefer this software.

CONS: BMP can be quite complex to deal with, especially if people are not that aware of how to use it properly. As a first-timer a few years ago, I shared personal struggles with Oracle BPM, which caused me some delays in my process implementation. One of the things that you should watch out for is the loading of documents. Try not to do it by bulk because the entire system tends to experience extreme latency, delaying your momentum and output. For me, Oracle BPM comes with many potentials to help improve businesses by guiding them when it comes to process implementation. However, certain aspects of the tool need to be looked into, such as upgrades and integration. If they can address these things, then the software itself would be readily accepted by other industries.

PROS: Workflows are highly essential for each business's success, and Oracle BPM is created to do such things seamlessly. Creating a business process from scratch takes time, and Oracle BPM makes sure that it comes out without a hitch. It is programmed to support small to significant-sized business operations. It is backed up with analytics and key performance indicators to ensure that all processes are carried out smoothly throughout the operations.

CONS: We have been using XML Query for programming and documentation purposes. However, we found out that BPM does not support this particular format. We had to hire a consultant to help find another format that would work best for the program.

PROS: We didn’t encounter any significant issues in setting up and using the program. If you are about to create complex processes, you might be needing the help of a process expert or a consultant to expedite the workflow. Once you can transition into the production/execution phase, you will notice a massive difference in your output because of Oracle BPM. I have realized that our company has many unsolved issues, and things started falling into place after using this platform.

CONS: I have observed that BPM needs to upgrade its spec so it can support other programs as well. Currently, it works fine in Oracle VM, but it doesn't sit well in Linux. Installing the program is easy, but making sure that it's working is a different story. The second issue that they need to fix is their software credentials because not all countries are permitted to run Oracle BPM. It took us some time to get a license for one of our international branches, inconveniencing us in so many ways. If we could get past some of these issues, then we are all good with Oracle BPM.

PROS: It was effortless to use and implement. I was able to familiarize myself with the product in less time than I expected. I’ve used similar process-oriented software before, but I prefer Oracle BMP because of its impressive overall features.

CONS: So far, I’m contented with Oracle BPM. It creates and enhances business processes and creates solutions that matter, so I will continue using it as long as I need it.

PROS: The application can improve the business's overall performance by implementing and improving certain types of processes through the help of Oracle BPM. It's one of the most competitive tools in the industry that comes with user-friendly features combined with simple dynamics to help take our business to the next level. Since we aim to remain globally competitive, using Oracle BPM tools gives us an edge over our competitors. This tool allows us to create processes from scratch and improve our existing ones without worrying about documentation. Oracle BPM allows business owners to keep up with ongoing business trends such as social media marketing and e-commerce and offer virtual customer service, making it convenient for all clients. BPM is responsible for keeping things in check and comply with the highest form of standards. As a user, I am happy that I can create my processes and ensure that it gets carried out in my projects or tasks seamlessly.

CONS: For me, Oracle BPM is a valuable tool, but I have some challenging issues with it. One of my concerns is the user interface, which I find very confusing to navigate. It takes time for me to find specific process-related documentation that causes me to feel frustrated. The implementation does not happen overnight, so you need a lot of patience in dealing with this BPM solution. But at the end of the day, what matters is that we can cost-effectively implement things.

PROS: I am currently using the 9.1 version of the application, and it has brought us better results in improving our output and workflow. I love its ability to integrate with other software like Java and MS. I made the right choice of having BPM because it made our communication a lot easier.

CONS: Based on my observation, the program is quite slow, mainly when it is tasked to load multiple documents simultaneously. Looking forward to better versions in the future.
