CONS: The learning curve is a bit high for some of my staff, especially the older generation. It's an Oracle product, I kinda expect that, but navigation can be greatly improved. It's hard to look for customizations and other tools. Getting a robust system usually means more complex on-boarding. It's a price we have to pay for the features. The vendor is on hand though and ready to walk you through the system.

PROS: Our scheduling and appointments used to be a mess. Oracle cleaned the whole process. We got to be flexible assigning staff on which days, filling the gaps days ahead and alerting us of appointments. Sudden calendar change used to be a big pain for me, but with the system, I can simply tap into the calendar, find an available staff member, notify her and verify the change with the customers. It's easy peasy and I'm surprised I didn't get to use the software much earlier.
CONS: Now I remember why I didn't get to use this much earlier--it's quite on the costly side. You'll have to make room in your opex to get this system. It's all worth it though if you have the budget.

PROS: We integrated it into our billing system to improve guest experience. We have more accurate billing, more engaging loyalty program and a better overview of revenues. It helps us cut losses and, conversely, increase profits. We're also able to make customers happier.
CONS: There are rare downtimes. For businesses without tech support, this can be worrisome. Good thing Oracle's hotline is readily accessible. The system is also difficult to learn at first, but once we got the bells and whistles right, we knew we made the right move.
