PROS: The product itself serves its purpose. It is not the most intuitive PMS but it certainly has quite a bit of customizability.
CONS: The customer service experience in their Latin American Department is among the worst we have experienced. The sales representatives are rude, misleading, and will try to take advantage of you any chance they get. They rely on subcontracted service technicians to provide customer service, distancing themselves from any mistakes they make. If errors due arise, rest assured that the Oracle reps will be the first to know how much they will cost to fix.

PROS: It helped us serve guests in a timely manner. Compared to other systems, it is also very detailed when it comes to the features it offers. From the 5 years, we've used it, it has only improved considerably to make our experience as users better.
CONS: As much as the platform improved, bugs and glitches can still be found in the system. There are times when updating the system causes problems to other features that worked perfectly well before.

PROS: No competitor will come close to OPERA's high functionality. It manages the processes of our hotel really well. It integrates well with other systems and takes care of other time-consuming tasks such as reports and bookings for you. It is also customizable according to your hotel's needs and contains a very detailed module which includes guest profile, reservations, and many more.
CONS: There are delays when it comes to customer service. This can be a hassle especially if you need the problem resolved as soon as possible. It also has a slow boot time, but this can probably be resolved by your internet speed connection.
