What is PushMon?
PushMon is an innovative SaaS monitoring solution that simplifies the way users monitor schedule scripts, batches, and jobs. While other hosted monitoring applications track and check public facing servers on a regular basis, PushMon does the complete opposite – it waits for pings from the objects being monitored.
The usually include batch jobs, scheduled scripts, backups, or test scripts, but the application can be used on anything that has access to the internet and can call a URL on a regular basis. Users can set a specified schedule (hourly, daily, or more specific like every 4:43 PM every Wednesday) to call a specific URL and if Pushmon does not receive the URL “ping”, it will automatically send a notification to users via email, IM, SMS, Twitter and/or phone call.
