PROS: The best part about this app is that it is easy to share data between multiple software applications and exchange messages. With its fully formed IDE, you get access to everything you need to accomplish this. Nevertheless, there is a bit of learning you need to work with this app. I have worked with a team of students who were trying to use webMethods and there was some difficulty at the beginning. Despite that I have had positive experience with webMethods.
CONS: There a couple of disadvantages. First, we don’t like the way the IDE was setup. Second, although most of the features were transparent, some of the features that we wanted seemed to be hidden in the complex interface. Third, we did not get adequate support when we ran into issues and it was difficult to get help.
