Acuity Scheduling from Squarespace Review

PROS: I initially chose the free version just so I can get a feel of the environment. Now I’m ready to commit to a more premium subscription!

CONS: Learning new apps don’t always come easy for me and Acuity was no exception.

PROS: I’ve managed to acclimate to Acuity Scheduling’s environment quite easily. Everything is easy to understand and all its appointment scheduling features are great too!

CONS: Still in the learning curve. I’ve only recently started using this tool, so naturally, not all commands will be familiar to me.

PROS: This software is relatively easy. The one thing that I like with it is its affordable pricing. The business I'm running literally involves me. Acuity either charges me a monthly cost of $10 or a yearly price of $110.

CONS: I don't like how its mobile app works. It's not really something that you call an "app." You're actually going to their site through a browser. A shortcut is available to access their "app.'

PROS: A thoroughly vetted and excellently implemented tool—Acuity is all that I need in a scheduling appointment solution. Scheduling and rescheduling are no longer such daunting tasks anymore for me. I’m a long-time user of this tool, and I have been enjoying using this very much. To top this all off, the marketing copies they send out are witty and well-written too!

CONS: I’m not sure if I need to explore this aspect a bit more or if it is indeed Acuity that needs to adjust, but I’d enjoy this app more with a few more solutions integrated into the system.

PROS: Thanks to Acuity, setting and making changes to appointments are a lot easier. I am now able to provide a better scheduling experience for my customers, increasing the likelihood of them enlisting my services again.

CONS: Most of the back and forths that happen with their customer support is done via email. This means that I get my answers longer, which I don’t like. There’s an imposed scheduling default to some users too that I cannot override.

PROS: Just about everything Acuity offers is pretty amazing. I'm able to set different kinds of appointments, build hours for appointment types, and even add in buffer periods --- ideal for creating another appointment or when appointments seem to take longer that the usual.

CONS: One thing that needs improving is a visually-pleasing calendar. Setting up an appointment on a sterile calendar is plain boring. As a business-minded individual, it'd be nice to have an option that makes the calendar more pleasing to the eye rather than making it appear as if you're setting up a doctor's appointment.

PROS: I’ve been using this to facilitate online calls with my team, just to get quick updates on the projects that they are working on. Thanks to its availability on mobile, I’ve been able to stay on top of affairs related to my business wherever I am as long as there is decent internet connection. I also like that this tool is really easy to navigate and has all the information I need within arm’s reach.

CONS: I have no issues with the tool itself, just the customer support team behind it. They’ve been slow to respond to my requests and questions. They were quick to apologize though, which I appreciate.

PROS: I’ve freed up so much time since using Acuity. No more manual work of scheduling, rescheduling, and asking for customer information—everything is now automatically saved in the system.

CONS: Suggestion: please add a survey form as a feature, or at least integrate an existing solution into your system.

PROS: I'm no longer stressed when it comes to organizing my calendar. I won't have to worry about sending e-mails or gathering payment. Everything is looked after! It's worth getting it integrated with a payment processor as it makes everything seamless!

CONS: At the moment? Nothing! Acuity actually meets my business requirements. It's perfect! It's hard to come up with a complaint for something this good. Getting e-mails customized can be cumbersome, but I can't blame them on that alone.

PROS: It's been so great in terms of usability. Blocking off time is a cinch and scheduling parameters is easier said than done! What's more, it's worth the price and easy when sharing with clients and colleagues.

CONS: With a speedy connection at hand, it's now possible to block off scheduling times within Outlook. It'd be a treat if this feature is natively built within the app.

PROS: This app has made it easier for us to book appointments for the services we're offering. It also have varying availability periods. Their support team is responsive and invaluable. Their API is highly documented.

CONS: I love Acutity for everything it has. Scheduling has gotten a lot simpler ever since we started using it. The price may be a bit higher than its competitors, but it's very well worth it!

PROS: I settled for Acuity Scheduling since it's capable of seamless integration with GoToMeeting. It comes with a bunch of customizations that I like. I get to have a wide range of links to cater to varying services. For instance, I have a link that deal with a 1-hour onboarding and another for current training options wherein a customer can pick sessions with me to train on specific topics.

CONS: Nothing bad to say about this. As a matter of fact. Zero complaints at all! It's functioning perfectly!

PROS: Intake forms are easy to set up and come up when a client schedules. Everything is pretty intuitive. They have a free service to try which is great when starting a business. As the business takes off, it makes sense to upgrade gradually through the different plans they offer. Since I'm starting a new business (which means zero income at first), the free service takes the pressure off.

CONS: If I want to change my availability on the Business calendar, it doesn't note which times have been booked. For example: Times entered for a Monday are 9:00, 10:00, & 11:00 am. If Clients booked 9:00 & 10:00, and I want to change my overall day to work in the afternoon, I can't see which times are taken. I have to write taken times down on a piece paper. It would be nice if times were greyed out.
