What is Buffer?

Buffer is an internet-based app intended for managing social media content. Its primary function is for sharing content across today’s well-known social media sites. It offers the ability to spread content via a simple approach. The app has the ability to connect to all social media accounts while making it easier to create and schedule posts.

Instead of traditionally logging in on Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Google+, and other social media sites, Buffer will do it all at once. It also makes it convenient for users to create posts and have them uploaded with a single click. The app contains a browser extension for seamless integration with WordPress, Chrome, RSS readers, and other important tools for sniffing out content.

Buffer is an app with an organized layout that makes it relatively easy to keep social media accounts updated. It has an automated feature for timing social media posts. PROS: With Buffer I can post frequently on social media networks and to attract great number of audience. I managed to increase Twitter followers as soon as I started using this product. I have huge amount of content to share and this tool allows me to keep in touch with my audience. The software is easy to use and it offers great set of features and great integrations with Pixabay and Unsplash.

CONS: The paid plan doesn’t set up a tweet to repeat over again at specific intervals, so I decided to use its free plan.

PROS: Buffer is extremely easy to use, it allows me to connect an RSS feed from my website so I can pull in links and photos for Twitter and Facebook posts. Thanks to this one, I can never forget to post a story and I don’t have to spend huge amount of time to execute social media strategy. I am able to switch between multiple accounts and schedule posts, optimizing the time I’m posting. The price is affordable compared to SproutSocialnand other social media systems.

CONS: It would be great if they could make the analytics more advanced especially click through and reach go. I like that I can easily find things on social networks but it would be much better if everything was in one place.

PROS: With Buffer we can easily schedule social media posts, its UI is very intuitive, user friendly and it offers great set of features. I’m using its free plan and I have to say that I am very satisfied. Even though the integration with instagram is not well, with this product we can easily create scheduled posts from our Desktop and push them via mobile app. There are lot of information, webinars and blog posts so you can easily understand this product and use it.

CONS: I wish there was a pricing tier between $9 and $99/monthly, because the $10/month doesn’t offer so much and I don’t have a $99/month budget.

PROS: Since I started using Buffer all my posts look great, UI is easy to use and friendly. We can add accounts and manage our posts and contents with queue. The reporting tools provide us with key information on past posts and contents.

PROS: Buffer saves us huge amount of time, it allows us to connect with my Twitter, Facebook, Likedin and G+ accounts and to post updates on all these networks from one place. We can schedule posts and send them later. The analytics feature is great as well and we are using it for analyzing what works well and what needs improvements.

CONS: The free version has some limitations or they could simply include Pinterest integration.

PROS: One of my tasks is to manage social media presence and I don’t have enough time to spend on sharing posts for my audience at specific time. Thankfully, here comes Buffer with its wonderful features for scheduling posts, organizing and setting perfect time for sharing them so I can reach out my audience. I like when I get the analysis on how my posts are doing.

CONS: In free version there are only 3 social media accounts. Also, there is some issue with Facebook page when I want to schedule post through mobile.

PROS: Buffer is perfect tool for content organization and scheduling post on social media networks. With Chrome extension you can easily share some quality contents. When you search the internet and find some interesting content or graphic you can easily buffer it and the post is scheduled. But, I believe that this tool is more than sharing and scheduling posts, it is true that it allows you to schedule posts at time that is suitable for you, to check the feeds, to stock up on the posts and many other things, but what’s most important than all of these is the ability to schedule advertising. I perform lot of conferences within my country and when I’m in the middle of a conference I don’t really have time to post to social media, and what I do and found it extremely useful is schedule a posts with presentation information, I always add conference hashtag and schedule it for a few days before, during and after the conference with Thank you message. It works like magic.

CONS: I miss the feature where I can attach RSS feeds and choose content right from its app. Also, I have found that the mobile app is not as perfect as the desktop version, it can be dull and not user-friendly. And the instagram integration does not work as it should be, because I cannot set articles without original graphics.

PROS: Thanks to Buffer I’m sure that all my posts look great. The interface is wonderful and easy to use, friendly and intuitive. We can easily add accounts, and with queue we can easily manage our posts and contents, there are reporting tools that provide significant information on past posts and contents.

PROS: I have to handle multiple jobs including a management of social media presence for my business. The truth is I don’t have enough time to share posts for my audience at particular time. But thankfully I have found Buffer that helps me to schedule my posts for a few days, to organize and set perfect time when to share them so my audience will see them and to automatically post the content when I do something else. Also, Iove the feedback analysis on how my posts are doing and what is ideal time for posting.

CONS: Buffer is one of my favorite auto-scheduling software but I don’t like that I have only 3 social media accounts on free version. Also, I cannot schedule posts on Facebook page via mobile. I believe they will improve this one.

PROS: Buffer is great tool for social media marketing and content scheduling. It is simple and straightforward with intuitive UI. It has drag-and-drop feature for the posts so we can easily re-arrange them, we are able to set up a custom time for posting, adjust posting frequency and specific time of the day. Also, its customer service is one of the best, they are very responsive and always ready for help. I love the “Share-next” option for publishing posts for next queue. There is even a feature for submitting post internally for review.

CONS: There are some bugs within UI but I fix this with refreshing the page. Also, the stats in analytics section is not consistent with Facebook stats.

PROS: Many social media management tools offer similar set of features and this is expected but this one offers no-nonsense, clear and straightforward platform. I am able to organize contents directly into Buffer, add post queues across social networks and set up posts based on user activities and engagements.

CONS: They need to improve some monitoring tools and functionality so we can follow conversations across hashtags and accounts. I believe they could make this happen.

PROS: Buffer makes social scheduling easily and simple. I have used other products that their dashboards are not as suitable as this one. I am able to set up publishing time, select how many time per day I want to schedule and then I have to fill up the queue. It saves lot of time and effort by selecting and scheduling posts on the go.

CONS: I think there was an option to organize content “by hand” depending on your interest so you can always add something interesting on Buffer queue.

PROS: Social scheduling has never been easier and simpler with Buffer. I used other tools but none of them has helped us to achieve great success nor met our needs. This tool allows me to set up publishing time, select day or week when I want to post a content. It saves lot of time and effort because all we have to do is to selct and schedule post on the go.

CONS: I cannot find an option “By Hand” that depends on your interest so you can add something on Buffer queue.

PROS: I like that we can easily schedule social media posts. The UI is intuitive and user-friendly and it has great set of features. I love its free plan. The integration with Instagram is not great but we can still create and schedule posts from our Desktop and push them via mobile app. The other good thing is that you can find lot of information about the product including webinar and blog posts so you can better understand how to use this product.

CONS: When it comes to price, the product is not flexible at all, the $10/month plan doesn’t offer much and on the other hand we do not have $99/month budget.

PROS: This is great tool for content scheduling and social media marketing. The program is simple and straightforward and it has intuitive and easy to use UI. I often use its drag-and-drop feature, it allows us to set u a custom time for posting, adjust posting frequency and specific time of the day. It has great customer service, they are responsive and always ready for help. We use the “share-next” feature for publishing posts or we can even submit post internally for review.

CONS: UI can be buggy sometimes and I have to refresh the page in order to fix it. The stats within analytics section are not same with Facebook stats.

PROS: Buffer lets me know when is the perfect time for posting on social media channels, I don’t have to analyze huge amount of data anymore, because this software does social media work for me, it knows when my posts have great potential reach. I can easily schedule content on the platform and I really like the option for editing scheduled posts before publishing them. I also like the mobile app.

CONS: I have to say that I’m not satisfied with the integration with Instagram, I had lot of trouble in connecting the account and at the end the images don’t even appear on the Instagram feed. Also, I manage multiple companies and I have to use separate Buffer accounts for each company. It would be great if I could manage all of those accounts from one place, if this is possible I could go for a paid version.

PROS: I’m using free version of Buffer and I have to say that it saves me a lot of time. I am able to connect my Twitter, Facebook, Likedin and G+ updates and have one place for posting the updates. I am able to schedule posts and send them at specific time that is best for my readers. I also love its analytics feature as well, I’m using it for analyzing what works well and what needs more engagement. Thanks to Chrome extension I can easily send updates to Buffer.

CONS: I don’t like the limited platform on free version, to be more specific I need Pinterest integration.
