FinancialForce PSA Review

PROS: I like how PSA and FF interact. With it I can easiky do both billing and invoicing, and that’s why Iove working with PSA/FF accounting system. It allows me to keep track of the invoices I have created and the transaction behind.

CONS: What irritates me the most is that this software lacks delete option for invoices. As an admin I’d like to have capability to delete specific things, including invoices. We have some duplicate invoices and we cannot delete them.

PROS: I like that FinancialForce provides us with both Sales and Services on one page/platform. It is essential for us to track our sales pipeline and to have visibility into our projects. Thankfully, PSA and Salesforce takes lot of administrative tasks off of our team and it allows us to focus more on our clients.

CONS: The product is amazing, I haven’t run into something that I might dislike.

PROS: FinancialForce provides lot of automation that helps us to simplify the utilization calculations. We are able to use SF functionality so we can enhance process flow. The support team is always responsive to our questions. Also, this tool offers advanced analytics for our PS managers.

CONS: When there is a problem the code is not easily accessible. Also, there are lot of administer from SF side.

PROS: FinancialForce is easy to use, very configurable and flexible project management solution. It has great support team and their customer success manager works perfectly. The integration with Salesforce is wonderful and straightforward. We had some small issues when implementing the product but this was more because of the changes of business processes.

CONS: They could make the reporting in Salesforce better, we are now using Wave in order to do more executive level reporting. Also, data migration is challenging but this isn’t product issue.

PROS: FinancialForce integrates perfectly with Salesforce. The platform is made for managing all aspects of a global professional service businesses. It offers great features and functions that are easy to use.

CONS: The resource management is complicated and managing tasks in Salesforce interface is almost impossible.

PROS: FinancialForce PSA is build on Force.com platform and this means that you can easily streamline sales and other professional services. It offers customer profitability, utilization and etc.

CONS: It takes some time to learn how to use this software. There are lot of system objects that PSA needs so it can produce specific data sets like missing timecards, etc. It has a learning curve when it comes to implementation.

PROS: This software allows me to create custom views and reports and to manage our resources and projects. I like that it provides us with transparency across the organization especially when it comes to status of the resource requests and projects. Also, we can even collaborate on same requests across the groups.

CONS: It has some limitationsin assignment schedules, for e.g. we’d lik eto update past timecards with actuals and have all the hours remaining on an assignment to schedule from today to the end of the assignment.

PROS: FinancialForce is easy to use and it wasn’t complicated to fiure out how it works and how to submit or log things. The process is streamlined and users can make submitting expense reports easily. The interface is simple and easy to navigate. Also, the mobile app is helpful for taking pohotos of receipts.

CONS: The system pauses when inputting numbers for expenses and it force switch from USD to Australian dollars. And this can be frustrating but it is minor issue.

PROS: FinancialForce offers great set of features for professional service company. I personally like the timecard system suite for our business mode. I like that it offers integrations with other 3rd services such as Expensify, and this makes the system even more powerful. It has wonderful support team that are highly responsive and always willing to help.

CONS: The performance of this tool is not very good especially when it comes to billing function. Also, the API is not intuitive so you have to try lot of times in order to figure out how it really works. In addition, FF doesn’t support mobile devices and this is huge dislike because everyone is using mobile phone to check something.
