Findmyshift is an online employee scheduling system that enables the creation of staff rosters, management of shift requests, track labor costs, and communicate with staff. It is a software developed in a way that managers and staff can access the system at any time and at any location with an internet connection

Easy to set up and install, Findmyshift provides everything its users need to manage their employees, all within the web browser. Basically, there is no software or special hardware needed to be installed in any device. Drag and drop scheduling is simple and straightforward that keeps users focused on who they are scheduling, not how they are scheduling. There is also a built-in time clock that tracks the hours employees are actually working and automated reports that help facilitate better cost reporting and more accurate payroll. Users can generate accurate payroll data by combining employee timesheets, schedules, pay rates and overtime rates.

Users can add new columns to Findmyshift’s database to help sort and filter their data in ways specific to the organization. Pending manager approval, employees are also able to log in to request shifts, cancel shifts and swap shifts with their colleagues. Automated shift reminders can be sent to the employees the day before their shift so they get to know when and where they’re working.

Findmyshift can be set up such that employees are given their due pay determined by the different hourly rates for different times of the day, days of the week, employee age and other factors. Document storage is also available, as well as a private built-in noticeboard to post messages, upload documents and communicate with your employees. All data sent between the browser and the server is encrypted using SSL, ensuring it stays private.

PROS: Our team used to have issues in scheduling. We are glad that FindMyShift became an instant solution to our problem. Our staff can access the site with ease and track their weekly working hours using their smartphones. If you are a manager handling a large number of employees and spend most of their time on the field, this app is for you because you can accurately view their login/logout time as well as their location.

CONS: A lot of employees are having payroll disputes because most of them forgot to log in and log out of the system. I know that it is their responsibility to do that during their scheduled shifts. But it would be great if the people behind this app can develop an additional feature like an alarm or send a text message to remind everyone of what to do.

It's easy to cater to requests in case they prefer to swap shifts and apply for some time off during weekends or special holidays. Employees can create the request using their access, and all I have to do is approve it on my end. Its less hassle and very straightforward.

CONS: I had some minor issues when I started using the system. It took me a few days to familiarise myself with what FindMyShift can do. Eventually, I became used to it, and everything is going on smoothly.

PROS: We use this software to manage rota and the process became a breeze. No need to disturb individual employees to know the precise staff rota. They can have their own login and put in the system their requests for day offs or shift changes without having to deal with often time consuming submission and approval processes. The system stores and keeps everything recorded.

CONS: We are all over the place at the start. We had a bit of a hard time navigating the platform at first, which is common when using software for the first time. But eventually, we became proficient in it.
