What is Omnifocus?
Omnifocus is a specially designed task management solution dedicated for Mac computers and iOS mobile devices (iPhone, iPad). The system enables users to efficiently manage, organize and delegate tasks and projects. Among its features include notes, locations, context, due dates, etc. With Omnifocus, users are able to view their tasks in relation to a specific location or schedule with the perspective functionality.
The system also allows project managers and team members to structure their projects based on a specific order or a certain timeline. The calendar feature allows users to view their schedule and set appointments as well as pending and upcoming tasks. Omnifocus integrates with Siri to help users add tasks even when on the go.

That means you updates and changes you entered in the system while working on your MacBook will automatically appear on your iPhone or iPad. The Mail Drop feature provides you with your own unique email address where you can email or “drop” your tasks. You can also forward your messages from your Gmail inbox to your OmniFocus account. Another effective way to input tasks to OmniFocus is to connect your OmniFocus account to Siri, which you can then configure to send you reminders of pending tasks, schedules, deadlines, etc.

PROS: I love everything about OmniFocus, it is great tool for “to-do” list management. Unfortunately, I use only small percent of its full potential, but I still believe that it’s worth more than I pay. The sync is perfect, intuitive keyboard shortcuts. You can easily create your to-do list, an ability for sequential projects, you are able to add projects within projects, it offers some contexts so you can focus on the tasks, and this is only small percent of what Omifocus can do for you.
CONS: Powerful software but it’s difficult to learn everything about it for each level. There are so many options and you can feel a bit overwhelmed to understand how and what you want to set up.

PROS: Omni Focus allows me to add projects and tasks on my Pc and I am able to access them via cloud-based server with intuitive interface on my iPad. I love its interface, it is easy and understandable. Also, I like the “Context” feature, with this I can assign tasks. I am able to filter when I’m out or to have an access to my phone. The tasks are easily find.
CONS: The only thing that I don’t like is that I cannot use it on a PC.

PROS: OmniFocus is great software and it is extremely easy to use. I use it for any kind of to-do list and I am able to keep track of it. I use it for my projects tasks at work and to keep track of the groceries I need to buy, I even write what questions I need to ask my doctor next time I have an appointment with him.
CONS: It is expensive, I have the pro-version. Because I bought OmniFocus 1 I have free upgrade to the second version of it. If I need to make different choice I would take the standard version. Also, if you want to use the iOS version there is an extra cost for it, the price is the same with the desktop version.
