What is Simul Docs?

Simul Docs is a version control and collaboration tool that allows multiple individuals to work on Microsoft Word documents at the same time in a much easier way. You can upload a Microsoft Word document from your computer or a cloud file storage service and invite people to collaborate on the document. Collaborators can access and edit the latest version of the document in Word or Word Online.

Simul Docs automatically generates multiple versions of the document and permits you to track changes between those versions. You’ll be able to compare different versions of Microsoft Word documents, merge two document versions together, roll back to previous versions, and copy and paste content from a prior version to the latest version. The tool also enables you to implement a workflow for approving and signing documents and publish documents in PDF or DOCX format.

Simul Docs enables users to collaborate on Microsoft Word documents without passing documents around via email. You can invite your colleagues to work on the Microsoft Word documents you uploaded to Simul Docs. They can access, open, and edit these documents in Word or Word Online.

As you and your colleagues collaborate and make changes in the documents, Simul Docs automatically creates new versions. It immediately detects when multiple individuals are simultaneously accessing and working on the same version of a document. The changes made by each collaborator are saved in separate branches, preventing users from overriding each other’s work.

Simul Docs is a useful version control solution that aids you to create and handle different versions of Microsoft Word documents easily. It permits you to view the complete history of a document in a straightforward interface. You can track what changes were made in each version of the document, who made them, and when those changes were made. 

You can merge different branches or document versions with just one click, see the differences between them, and accept or reject changes made by each collaborator. Simul Docs also allows you to return to an older version of the document and edit it again from that version.

Easy Document Sharing
