What is Smart Service?

Smart Service is a scheduling and dispatching system designed for field service industries and businesses. The field service management software offers a paperless and mobile solution for various types of field service businesses. These include HVAC, plumbing, pest control, fire protection, lawn care, maid service, pet food delivery, construction, IT service, electrical and appliance repair, irrigation, and more. The software aims to help users streamline their day-to-day operations, increase efficiency, and eliminate waste of time and money.

In addition, Smart Service is integrated with QuickBooks. Because of this;  information on customers, employees, products, and services from QuickBooks is automatically imported into the software. As a result, users will be able to quickly schedule work for their customers.

The software also streamlines the process of dispatching personnel for field work, wherein work orders and service details are quickly send out to them. Plotting of service routes is also done instantly. Back office managers can track their field workers including their equipment. Last but not the least, Smart Service provides an inventory module that enables the software to automatically update the total inventory of parts or items used for field work.

Smart Service is a field management software that works with any QuickBooks platform; whether it is QuickBooks Pro, Premier, Enterprise, or Online. As a unique feature, this integration enables information to be synchronized between the two platforms. Thus, when users add a new customer, employee, product, or service information in QuickBooks; the existing information in SmartService is also updated.

So, if they have a new customer who requests a field service or work from them, they no longer need to re-enter the customer information in either of the two platform. As it eliminates double data entry, it also makes scheduling of field work or tech dispatch faster.

Another feature offered by Smart Service is that it allows users to dispatch work quickly and accurately. The software eliminates the use of paper work orders. As a result, users no longer need to waste their time digging through file cabinets just to search for their work orders. In addition, their field workers will be able to quickly receive their schedules and details of their job, as work orders are easily done using the software. Once the work order is complete, they will be able to instantly send it back to their office and receive a new work order.

Smart Service also provides a route planning tool that allows users to automatically plot service routes and create daily service plans. They will be able to do this by simply selecting a field operator, tech, or driver; selecting the jobs, and tapping a button.

In addition, the software enables technicians and field workers to attach pictures to their work orders. Thus, they will be able to associate pictures to their jobs to show their progress: users can add before and after breakdown pictures. This feature helps users gain the trust and confidence of their customers.
