Splashtop Remote Support Review

PROS: It allows me to login to my personal computer even if I'm away. We also use this in our office, and as an IT support, it's super useful for me because it allows me to see what's going on in various computers and troubleshoot it without having to go to their work area and use their computers. I can do it by just accessing theirs from my computer.

CONS: It would be better if they improve the monitor viewing, especially when switching the views. The current way to view monitors isn't that optimized because I find the fonts too small.

PROS: I love Splashtop. Easy to install, easy to configure, easy to navigate. It's an affordable and all-around solution for remote tech support!

CONS: So far, I only have a good experience with Splashtop!

PROS: Deployment is super easy! Our clients no longer have to worry about getting tech support regardless of their location.

CONS: It doesn't automatically update the computer names in the system when the name is changed by its users.

PROS: This app works well even if your connection isn't that fast or stable. It's a remarkably cost-efficient app and definitely worth your company's money. They also have a great tech support team!

CONS: I'm currently experience issues with our newly installed machines and with the switching of users, but it's currently being resolved by their amazing team.

PROS: Splashtop is an affordable and cost-effective software that beats all of its competitors with all its amazing features. Its advantages include its user-friendly interface, intuitiveness, and collaboration features!

CONS: I wish there's an option where the user can only share a certain window and not the whole screen when screen sharing.

PROS: I love the zoom feature! I find it really handy when using the mobile app! I also love that my team and I can collaborate remotely.

CONS: Nothing. I used to dislike that I have to install the client in every PC but this one gets resolved with the portable app.

PROS: The best part of this software are the following: easy deployment of codes, grouping, file transfers, multi-monitor view, and multi-user access.

CONS: There are instances when the phone app doesn't properly work when working on multiple windows.

PROS: Splashtop is fairly easy and quick to setup. It's secured because authentication is always needed when adding new users. Its wide range of features is impressive, but what I like the most is the chat and screen recording feature.

CONS: We experienced some issues with the connection but it's easily resolved by simply restarting.

PROS: This is a pretty straightforward app and pretty much affordable. I think it's the best one on the market!

CONS: There are some incidents where the users get disconnected when they are connecting with our VPN.

PROS: I keep on comparing this app to the previous one that I use and it's definitely better in all aspects: (1) set of features; (2) cost; (3) ease of use; and (4) access.

CONS: It doesn't have a remote printing option so you need to have a third party app if you want to do it.

PROS: This is a good app that provides remote control for IT support items. The machine assignments can be moved, but you have to be careful in doing so. I love that the app can be accessed by multiple users and really does its job. My team also uses this for personal use!

CONS: It's hard to change the name of the computers in the database. I also wish that the support team can show one window at a time. I don't like multiple windows cramped on a screen.

PROS: Splashtop offers tons of options for features. You can select and pay for only the features you would need. This is more affordable. Worth the price especially that it has a functional mobile app.

CONS: The anti-virus add-on is a bit pricey. It would also take time to print using the local printer.

PROS: I think this software currently the best of its kind! It's easy to use. The aspect ration and resolutions are amazing, and of course, the remote access!

CONS: The zooming using 2 fingers is not working properly. I'm also waiting for an iOS-compatible version.

PROS: Splashtop gives us what our previous software cannot -- remote access to multiple users regardless of the location. It's easy to setup and worth the price!

CONS: The trial version also allows only 2 users so it's hard to test how it works for multiple users. We also encountered minor issues when connecting with computers using Nvidia drivers and links.
