PROS: Nothing really. if you have the skillset you are better off just building your own platform.

CONS: Really? I think survey monkey should use their tool do some research on that and maybe since they are so quick to ask to get paid for nothing they could actually pay users to get the information they are in dire need of to improve their business!

PROS: I really like the feedback summary of this software. It provides different charts and graphs, they are automatically created for the users. You can find lot of helpful tools so you can easily create the surveys.

CONS: Some useful tools cannot be found easily. It would be great if they could include webinars or online video trainings for newbies so we can easily find the tools we need.

PROS: It has an easy UI for anyone looking to have an upper hand in survey work. I literally did not need any training in creating surveys with this tool. At first, it only took me 2 hours. With over 4 years of using the tool, I can say that it has become a reliable addition to my projects. I can easily meet the needs of the organization as it has become easier to use after every upgrade. All this takes place without any increase in the cost of the product. I can share surveys across different platforms and create reports on those surveys with ease.

CONS: At first, it was difficult to get the reports or download them in a version that can allow for editing. However, with years of use of the product, I can find my way around and download them in many formats. For example in excel, CSV and PDF file. This has made it easy to interpret the results and edit where necessary without much hustle. Also, you can get those results in PowerPoint format, which makes your work easier.

PROS: Getting the chance to pick from templates made or having the option to make customizations according to certain needs. Being able to share survey with your network by means of a link or e-mail, and organizing the results into analytical reports are really great. The online UI is a breeze to use once you're able to get the hang of making surveys. Being able to integrate open-ended responses, question styles, and general response collections is a great feature. Leaving an open survey makes room for consistent data collection.

CONS: I have to admit. It took several tries to understand how questions present themselves in the final survey copy. After a few attempts, I'm able to learn which ones need to be selected and which ones shouldn't be worth capturing. There are certain types of questions with varying settngs and concealed options. Missing out on a checkbox will lead to completely different results.

PROS: It is the free version of the tool that impressed me. I was able to send up to 10 survey questions. If your needs are above this, you can switch to the paid version which come with different additional features and capabilities. I can craft my questions the way I like as the product provides different ways you can do it. It allows for ease of customization with the multiple templates it has. For my case, I use the URL and email to send surveys. This way, I can get simple feedback and email notifications when I receive a response.

CONS: Although the email way is easy, it can have limitations when you want to send surveys to your recipients. The emails may land in the spam folder and thus the recipient may not be able to see them in their inboxes. However, you can correct this problem by using the URL in conjunction with your email to get rid of the spam. It would be better if there was a simpler way as beginners may have a lot of problems before they realize that their correspondents are not getting the surveys they send via email.

PROS: I love how this tool is user-friendly. It's a cinch making a survey and then sharing it directly to audience and colleagues. Its got a great reputation. Customer support has been tremendous if you want more help in survey creation or if you want further assistance. It's a software that can be applied to different institutions (businesses, schools, corporations, and others).

CONS: I don't really have much quibs with this software. I was hoping it could link to other third party apps. I know the software is capable of making surveys, but I wish these could be linked in such a way so responses and percentages pertaining to the survey quesions can be shown.

PROS: It's simple to use. Customizations can easily be done. The tool gives you the chance to choose a wide range of pre-made questions. You can make customizations on your logo, build dashboard reports, and even come up with a hyperlink of your own survey. A majority have used this platform for making basic surveys. If that's what you want, then this tool will certainly cater to those needs.

CONS: Logic and skip patterns are challenging to do. You're frequently pushed to go for bigger and costly versions. That is, if you're pushing to conduct a complex survey. Seeing case-by-case results can be challenging that looking into aggregate data.

PROS: As for my role in the company I work for, I want to reach out to a large group of people after I'm done with training. PROS: It is the best survey tool in the market I have used so far. It offers a quick solution to carrying out surveys as it is simple to use. With a highly customizable platform, it allows you to make presentations of the surveys you have carried out with ease. As a data analysis tool, it has come out as the best of its kind. It is a market leader in that field, and due to that, I can always rely on it for all my data problems in future.

CONS: At the moment, the tool has been great in carrying out surveys. I cannot seem to find anything majorly wrong with it in my line of work. However, some improvements will be necessary such as mobile compatibility. It would be better if it had a mobile app where you can conduct and analyze surveys from your mobile device on the go.

PROS: In my experience, the Survey Monkeys is perfect tool for gathering information and feedback from the audience and individuals after the events. I am able to send the link to the survey into the email or via social media sites. I also like that this tool compiles all the results of the surveys so I can easily analyze the final results.

CONS: Sometimes it can be hard to make some changes within the survey itself. I would like to see some navigations of the site.

PROS: SurveyMonkey is perfect for starting a quick survey. It's great for sending survey to different places within my company. You can kick off with a free plan and send out 10 questions per survey.

CONS: While making use of a free plan is a good thing, it'd be a plus if more features were included. You're only limited to having 10 questions with the free version. Plus you're left with standard e-mail support. It's understandable for developers to make a profit, but it would be reasonable if the number of questions are limited to 20. 10 questions per survey is way too little.

PROS: SurveyMonkey is a really an up-your-face survey software with a simple appearance. It's ease of use is amazing. I favor its minimalist appearance since it makes survey creation view-friendly and organized. When I mention "minimalist" I meant it in a crip and modern-like way. That means none of that ancient Windows 98 stuff involving fill-in bubbles and a scrolling page with questions.

CONS: I'm not into ads that are shown to respondents at the end of each survey. It's a bit weird (for me). I know they offer a free version but I felt the ads aren't involving anything related to the survey. Simply put, it makes the software and site less professional looking.

PROS: SM is easy to use tool, it is clear and understandable software. Wonderful tool for short surveys by using some simple skip patterns and restrictions. This can be done online without downloading extra software. I have found out that lot of people answer the survey whenever they open quick-link. You don’t have to know some program languages or to be tech savvy in order to do the work via Survey Monkeys. I also like the pre-loaded questions.

CONS: It would be great if they could include more options for pre-load data so I can include them into my surveys. In addition, the data export should be improved to be more flexible. Also, I cannot use it for complex skip patterns and I’m not using it when I need data encrypted.

PROS: It is not only easy to use but also offers multiple ways you can retrieve results of the surveys. Once you have created the questions in the form of surveys and send them out, you can get responses as soon as the target group has taken the survey questions. It allows for full customization of the surveys as the templates allow it. This will be based on your needs and how well you want the surveys to look unique. You can retrieve the results either for an individual respondent or all respondents and compare them. The fact that you can create those questions in multiple formats gives you the upper edge when conducting surveys.

CONS: The tool is great in terms of conducting surveys. However, since we are not profit oriented, it can be difficult going for the paid version. The free plan that we use offers only 10 questions and that is how much we are limited in terms of our surveys. The paid plan is too much for us and it would be nice if they offered a custom plan based on our needs, which will require a considerable discount on our part. This would help us to pay for a plan which offers more questions in a survey and thus reliable.

PROS: One of its best features is the simplicity in making a survey with varying questions and response choices. Options are available for repeating answer sets and utilize matrix questions. An open text is even available if further feedback is needed.

CONS: SurveyMonkey has plenty to provide as a survey tool. But I think their UI needs to be updated. I've dealt with a wide range of business software. The brown colour theme isn't good to look at. There's very little options on the dashboard which makes the entire thing a little underwhelming.

PROS: It has a friendly user interface where you can find what you are looking for with ease. The surveys can help you learn what your target audience wants depending on their feedback. You can create survey questions and frame them in a way that gives you quick responses from the parties involved. It has a social feel to it as it allows you to donate or contribute to a cause aiming for social development and growth.

CONS: Although, it has a friendly UI, it has a learning curve to it. Before you get used to it or learn how it works, you will take time. It is confusing at first but one you learn how to do things, it is all smooth. You can find out what your clients need and produce that, which is good for business. As a freelancer, you are able to conduct surveys and provide what is lacking in the market.

PROS: It allows you to customize it based on your needs. Apart from that, it is easy to use once you get the hang of things. You will find multiple survey questions which have already been created. You can use those questions to create your own surveys, which saves time and effort. It has a simple dashboard which allows you to create your company logo and customized reports for your survey work. You can also create a survey hyperlink for ease of access of the service. If you are in the basic stage of creating surveys, this tool can co me in handy.

CONS: The free version is only for basic surveys and limited. If you are looking to carry out for create complex surveys, you have to upgrade to a paid version. The paid version also varies where if you want sophisticated surveys, you may be required to upgrade which means more cash coming from your pocket. The less expensive versions will offer a case by case viewing instead of an integrated view of all the cases which can be time consuming.

PROS: The ability to create surveys in many types of questions and responses makes everything effortless. You have multiple options of the both worlds where you can create a survey using multiple questions and responses. You can also choose the content or information the respondent has to give priority to with the help of the required feature. This allows you to create tailored surveys depending on what you want to find out from your target audience. You can also use open text, matrix questions and repeat answers depending on your survey objective and as for the open text, you can leave it for your clients to leave feedback which you can use even in years to come.

CONS: The user interface is not as attractive or simple as it should be. When compared with other business related applications, Survey Monkey does not have much to offer in terms of its UI. It does not have dashboard options for you to choose what you want in terms of the color and thus unattractive. All in all, the tool works fine for my survey problems and thus the UI is the least of my worries.

PROS: It has everything you need to carry out surveys. We are able to fully customize our survey with the help of the tools the product has. From summaries to data trends, we can do it all. Our team can carry out reviews with ease. With the help of the Survey Monkey, we can carry out data collection, assessment, surveys and training among others.

CONS: It has quite of a learning curve. If you are new to it, it is easy to mess up. Since we use the same account, it can be confusing when running many programs. Although it has filters for ease of navigation, being a beginner, you will not find it easy to use as they are not built-in. This makes it difficult at first but once you get the hang of things, it is smooth.

PROS: Survey Monkey is quick and easy to use. I can easily create surveys the way I want. I can easily move back-and-forth between the steps in order to create the perfect survey for my needs. There are many different surveys available. I always use them to gather the information I need.

CONS: It can be confusing to figure out what options are available to free and to paid versions.

It can challenging, but I can understand the software developers want to profit.

PROS: It has everything I need for the role I play in the company. Since I take part in training people, I need to know how that has gone. With a large population of people, Survey Monkey helps me to get ahead of things. I can create questions that have a quick response in short period and send them out to the people I have trained. In return, the feedback will be quick. It comes with simple but powerful features such as multiple choices and comment boxes which are all integrated in a single survey. This is on the contrary to other survey tools which will have few or one survey feature.

CONS: Although the survey features are admirable and offer reliable platforms to carry out quality surveys, it can be frustrating when you have to create a question for each different response. It would be nice if you only had to create one question that caters for all responses. For example, when you use the drop down functionality, to create a question, the respondents can place their comments in the comment box. Apart from that, the use of the URL to send out surveys brings an error message at times. It implies that the survey has expired while as you have just created it.

PROS: Survey Monkey allows me to create new form with any kind of suggestions. It provides lot of templates and you are allowed to use them for your own purposes. I like that there is data bank of the questions and it is well design so you can easily pull the information from and select the education. I often use this tool to get feedback from the students.

CONS: What I don’t like about this survey software is the inability to export data in free version. So I often use Google Forms for doing some surveys. I also want to say that Survey Monkey offers same options as other similar tools like Google Suite or Google forms, so if I’m limited in some way I can always turn to other solution.

PROS: Survey Monkey is a tool that I have used it for two different jobs. It is easy to use and the platform offers everything you need to meet your needs. You can choose various options for the survey, you can even upload contacts. This is perfect tool for both internal and external customer and company surveys. I like the results I get, they are extremely helpful for my marketing teams.

CONS: I have never met something that I don’t like about Survey Monkeys.

PROS: This tool has great looking templates like Google Forms, I haven’t found that kind of templates in other competitor’s tools. The interface is simple and clear it provides pleasant experience to its user. There are lot of options on free version you can use to create your own surveys.

CONS: In free trial there is a limit for the surveys you can take, and because of this limit I often use Google Forms. But on the other hand, the Survey Monkeys’ team constantly improves the tool and releases new options.

PROS: It is a powerful customization survey tool. When you compare with other similar tools, Survey Monkey stands out on this part. On top of that, you can easily link everything you need on the system to your account for ease of access. It offers end to end survey functionality that allows you to create, send out and manage surveys and responses from your customers. We are able to come up with specific surveys that target a particular group and send them out for feedback. This product has brought the best analytic capability as compared to other similar tools in the market.

CONS: Some of the features the tool offers are not intuitive. Due to this, it fails to achieve the objective I set to attain and this can be frustrating. This forces me to click around and depend on trial and error before I can find my way around. It would be nice if it was more intuitive with some of its features for ease of use.

PROS: I love the fact that they have a free version available. The version may have its limitations, but that's expected. One fine thing with running a free version is that it lets you make 10 quesions for every survey. This tool is really great and a lot of thought and effort has gone in making this tool work for businesses. Responses are simple enough to undertand and I like how I get e-mail notifications whenever I get a response.

CONS: I've been using SurveyMonkey e-mail to surveys, but there have been so many instances where my respondents end up not getting my survey. A majority of them would say my sent surveys sent to their spam folder instead. One way they can resolve this is my utilizing a link within the my personal company's e-mail so it won't be flagged as spam. It's my second option, but at times, I had to resort to doing that.

CONS: The only that made it difficult for me is downloading survey reults in format that's really easy to manipulate. Take note, this happened in the early stages. This time, I have options to downloading to a CSV, PDF, and Excel format. That was a huge difference maker. Specific reports can now be opened in the form of PowerPoint files.

PROS: You can either utilize the already created templates and change them a little bit to suit your needs or create one for yourself entirely. It is possible to share the surveys via email or link and manage the results with ease. It is easy to use once you understand how it works and the key features. With an integrated platform, you can merge all your responses for ease of evaluation and streamline of responses from customers even after years to come.

CONS: At first, it was difficult to find yourself around the features of the product. It was all trial and error. Luckily, I was able to find what not to do and what to do in what circumstance. If you miss just a step, you can affect the entire result of the survey. Some of the settings are buried deep in the system, which makes it difficult for a beginner to find their way around them. It would be better if such settings were made simple for ease of use.

PROS: It's really user-friendly. Summaries and trends of data are perfect for brief reviews. You have the option to do multiple choice, free response, and check-box survey questions. Templates can be customized. Surveys can be accessed via a URL or from an e-mail.

CONS: At times, filters can be confusing. This is true if you have no idea how to utilize them the right way. Survey designs are too simple. It would be a great idea to include some design customizations. These could in the form logos, backgrounds, fonts, and etc.
