BlueJeans Review

PROS: We can conduct meetings and work together on something simultaneously and effectively without having to gather in one physical location. The ability to conduct conferences online is a great thing especially for a team with members working in different locations. It saves us time and hassle. The best thing, the BlueJeans My Team allows up to 75 individuals to join the conference. We are a small company so almost everyone is able to attend the meeting. Also, this tool offers great functionalities for webinars.

CONS: First, without an internet connection, we aren't able to conduct meetings (this is not really a problem with the app though but still quite disappointing) Second, this platform consumes too many resources. Third, the process of archiving and recording conferences is sometimes frustrating. Fourth, we sometimes encounter audio difficulties. There are also features that seem to do more harm than good. Lastly, appointments created using Outlook only exists in the Outlook calendar that is planned and not in the account.

PROS: For me, the best things about this app are its simplicity, great quality, and mobile compatibility. The ability to access and use this platform on my smartphone is really an awesome thing because I’m able to stay in touch with my clients and peers even while I’m away from the office. The quality is also superb! The video and audio remain excellent even if there are too many attendees. I also love that it integrates with Calendly.

CONS: The desktop app isn’t working well on my new PC. So now, I’m using the app extension for Chrome.

PROS: I am working as an accounting manager and part of my job is to coordinate with the people in the government to pay for and settle our business taxes. BlueJeans has been very helpful in reaching out to the officials and have meetings with them. Generally, the company is using this tool for interviews, official meetings, training sessions, and many more and overall its performance is pretty impressive.

CONS: A moderator is needed to be able to start a conference. Other than that, everything is working fine for us.

PROS: The sound is very clear! I love it. By far BlueJeans has the best quality of sound among other video conferencing platforms I have used such as Zoom.

CONS: In order to get into a conference, I have to dial so many numbers. But no matter how much I hate it, I know there's nothing we can do about it. It is just part of the process. But still, I consider it a con.

PROS: First, this app's standard meeting mode allows up to twenty-five audio or video attendees which is a great thing for big teams. Second, it has a lot of amazing features like screen sharing functionality, unlimited cloud recording, rooms module and a lot more. Third, it integrates with several different systems like Outlook, Slack, Skype for business to mention some. All of which makes communication better. Fourth, it is easy to search and access to previous meeting recordings. Last but not least, this platform is very easy to implement and navigate and helps us communicate seamlessly with our team members based on different locations.

CONS: Whenever I create an appointment with Outlook, the meeting becomes valid only in the Outlook calendar and not added to our account. Another thing, I usually have a hard time accessing the sharing screens. Hopefully, they make it as accessible as the video conferencing.

PROS: BlueJeans offers a great way to share videos remotely and seamlessly without any disturbances. The quality of video calls, calls, and chat are superb. It can be integrated with Office 365 which is very useful for the business. On top of that, their customer service is excellent. They are responsive and reliable. They never fail to help us fix the problems we encountered using the system.

CONS: The laptop tends to overheat when we are using the application for too long. Aside from that, the room administrators do not have full control over the conference rooms so they cannot really lead the meetings the way they want to.
