Church Helpmate & Realm Review

PROS: The app receives regular updates that are helpful for church administration. This makes the app suitable for its intended use.

CONS: It still needs more new features and improvements. Their staff database, for example, would be great if it features service planning as well.

PROS: A platform that is easy to learn and use, Realm hugely helps for storing, organizing and updating information efficiently. It lets me conveniently grab latest info that can help in boosting sales too. That is why I make a habit of suing this tool regularly.

CONS: This platform is wonderful. I can’t point any problem with it.

PROS: It is a tremendous help in managing the church, and it also helps in knowing church updates through mobile. It makes relationship building easier too, since it allows church members to know each other more. It even help people know other members who seem strangers for them previously.

CONS: This platform is really useful. It doesn’t has any flaw.

PROS: This app helps me a lot in handling my church-related info and updates as a member. It makes communicating with others easier too, since I can conveniently post in groups, message one or multiple people, as well as knowing latest updates about the church. Moreover, it is easy to give and track my donations and tithes through online means. And this allows me easy access anytime and anywhere.

CONS: The connect app is simple and convenient to use. But I’m a Realm administrator, and I can say that there are cool features on our site that are not yet available in the platform. I wish such features would become available on the app as well, and I wish Realm would become better for regular users and administrators.

PROS: This cloud-based app has many helpful features, and it’s easy to use anywhere. It also helps me in knowing church members since the platform display their pictures on each profile.

CONS: Some church members don’t want to sign-up for an account because of different personal reasons. It can’t add photos to multiple profiles through big updates as well, meaning you have to upload pictures one by one for each profile. Moreover, the app won’t connect to other platform such as Powerchurch Plus and Lifetouch, while these two apps can connect seamlessly.

PROS: It is easy to begin using Realm, and it provides convenient data access through the cloud. It can carry all info of our entire church database efficiently. And I can easily access such data using any device or browser.

CONS: The platform has some problems, such as requiring a person to use a Realm account for registration. This is a concern for people who don’t have an account and want to join an event. That is why I’m hoping for such restrictions to be removed on next updates. Searching for data is quite inconvenient as well, since the platform shows more details than I need. This makes it difficult for me to get reports.

PROS: It features a dependable database for storing church and member records, and it makes database management easier too. It also helps in tracking member activities such as contribution, church involvement, as well as donation trend among other details.

CONS: It doesn’t has a user-friendly interface, and it can become too inconvenient when you’re not familiar with such kind of platforms. For example, database management can be difficult, and simply navigating its interface can be confusing. This makes simple tasks difficult since you need to find your way through multiple tabs.

PROS: It has a reasonable price considering its features. It has a clean and convenient to use UI, and its report customization option is great.

CONS: It has a pricy multi-location license. The problem is, its basic license doesn’t suit well for multiple locations which are all small communities or churches.

PROS: Working hours for church staff is quite high, that is why I suggest churches use an automated management platform for help. Yes, this increases expenses during switching or changing process, but this brings better results later on. Realm, for example, makes giving more efficient through the web, and it drastically reduces working hours of church staff. No tons of accounting tasks to be done, except only for checking bank accounts.

CONS: It lacks efficient and customizable accounting features when handling reports. This may include some graphs for previous cash account balance, revenue cost, net profit and different cost categories among others.

PROS: This app is amazingly convenient to use, and it allows easy access anywhere using different devices. It has complete features that meet the work necessities of church staff, plus it receives more features through frequent updates too. It also has a dependable user support that has helped me sort out some issues.

CONS: It still have issues to fix and improve, such as some problems with organizing saved links and files. The space for saving items simply put everything in a long list arranged according to time and date, and we can’t list things alphabetically or make folders. Such feature would help team members for saving meeting hours or volunteer discussions a lot. It’s a good thing, however, that there’s a panel where possible future features are posted, then users can vote which will next come in fruition. This also helps churches identify which features they really need, and which option they should wait for some more time.

PROS: This app makes communication amazingly easy. That is because it allows convenient storage and retrieving of contact details. The app itself is easy to use too.

CONS: Becoming a Realm administrator is quite inconvenient. It’s a good thing, however, that it has a good user support who can help sort things out.

PROS: It is truly easy to begin using this tool. It is convenient as well, especially that some of its processes use lesser steps to complete. Surely perfect for many churches and other groups.

CONS: The accounting features have some problems which make it difficult to understand. For example, I notice it is possible to simplify some processes that the tool present in complex ways.

PROS: It is a complete software that is easy to access and use; hence, I keep it in my mobile. It features cool organization of activities and staff. It is a big help when I work as a technical assistant for the Sunday school, especially that other staff there doesn’t know about techs and apps that much.

CONS: I haven’t seen any problem while using the platform. However, I has some problems when logging-in, and I think it is about permission issues.

PROS: It has cool features for many church management tasks. Aside from common administrating works, it also has features for accounting, discipleship and communication among others. For example, it has the Pathways that is helpful for relationship building and discipleship. This eliminates the need for us to use multiple apps and meet our needs.

CONS: Yes, the software is cool and great. However, navigating its interface requires some learning curve.
