PROS: CA Flowdock gives you a lot of options to add other sources of information: Github, email threads, monitoring, etc. Using multiple channels, it's easy to "lurk" in channels you don't often actively participate in, but want to be informed.
CONS: You cannot search private 1:1 messages. It would also be nice if it was easier to see co-worker's status.
The least favorable review
PROS: CA Flowdock solves the problem of the mess of simultaneous messages. It's possible to see only the messages related to a given point. It also has fantastic integration with GitHub and Jenkins, and a really great SDK for writing your own extensions.
CONS: They have done nothing to solve the proliferation of flows (Hipchat equivalent: rooms) and flows cannot actually be deleted, just disabled (which adds to organizational cruft on any admin page). Also, there's no way to re-assign a message to a context once you've sent it.

PROS: It is possible to get CA Flowdock running through their website with just a few clicks and basic configuration. Chat functionality is very good too, allowing to talk in isolated channels. You can mix in just one platform all tools that you use in a daily basis.
CONS: There are too many tabs when using the web version. Each click to a different section open a new tab. I sometimes also have problems with notifications on mobile app as there is some delay between sending a message and get a notification on your phone.

PROS: I find CA Flowdock very handy if I need to quickly discuss the design of a badge, or button, or even a rollup. Another thing I like is that you can organize groups in it. This way I can share information to a selected audience.
CONS: You cannot search within the tool. A workaround is to open Flowdock in browser, load conversation history and then search using the native browser's search window.

PROS: Conversation threading lets you create message threads within a channel. You don't have to scroll endlessly looking for the history around a particular conversation. I also love the custom emojis.
CONS: Slack has a nice card-like content blocks you can publish and has some more integrations. CA Flowdock search is pretty useless if you don't know the right channel to search.

PROS: Flowdock is a good and useful tool to integrate team members and make communication easier. Also, file sharing is available and can be very useful to give access to all it may concern and discuss about it. The user interface is simple, modern, and visually accurate. Integration with external services like Github are also amazing!
CONS: When you try to load some conversation and it doesn't show anything sometimes. Another issue is the web version, regarding the new window tabs when navigating to some sections.

PROS: CA Flowdock is a great platform to communicate in a collaborative work environment. You can get email notifications when someone messages you and the app is wonderful for after work hour communication. Our company loves using the emojis and putting GIFs into our daily chat and humor. It also has our Twitter feed on the side of the chatroom where we see what the market is saying about us.
CONS: They don't have video chat unlike other similar products which already have that.
