PROS: RingCentral has enabled us to build a cohesive unit driven by sound communication and clear messaging. With the ability to hold meetings and conference calls, coupled with screen sharing function and the call recording tool, we couldn’t ask for more. How do I even list all the features that we like? To be honest, its feature set fits the bill for our company. From the flexibility to change meeting ID to multidevice connectivity to the dedicated dial-in number, everything is exactly as we desired.

CONS: There is no con to write about.

CONS: We have issues when holding conference calls with our remote agents, particularly if they are connecting to a cloud-based interface or RingCentral app. We’ve not transitioned to a fully wireless system and this seems to be the root cause of our troubles.

PROS: I don’t like bothering my prospects and clients with untested tech tools. This is simply because I have had uncountable bad experiences with meeting platforms that just didn’t measure up. However, with RingCentral Meetings, I had to discard that fear. And since day one, the solution has never disappointed. In fact, it stuns clients with its use and exceptional video quality. Additionally, RingCentral Meetings packs a lot of great features at a fair price.

CONS: There isn’t a major drawback to discuss. The only thing I can mention is that at times, the video lags which has nothing to do with the app. It occurs when the internet connection on my end or the customers’ end is of low quality.

PROS: With the way our team is constituted, we needed software that can help us communicate better without being overly complex. In RingCentral Meetings, we found a solution that is easy to use and versatile, too. Beyond holding virtual meetings and conference calls, we can now share different types of documents to keep our projects ticking along.

CONS: I realized that this system runs on its own white-labeled platform. As a result, when our employees download the RingCentral Office apps, it leaves them confused about which one to access.

PROS: In addition to scheduling meetings, the solution enables us to send out invitations to one, a selected few, or all employees. We also like the fact that participants don’t need a RingCentral account to join a meeting, all they need is a meeting host. It’s also easy to share your screen or files stored in Google Drive or Dropbox during the meeting.

CONS: First, the vendor has to find a better way to sync the computer with the mobile device during the dial-in process. As it’s currently designed, it puts the end-user in a situation where they have to make a swift decision on what to select between the computer or phone audio. Another problem is that some RingCentral controls are not easily accessible. One function that I have found to be confusing, especially for new users, is joining an audio meeting. Can we have a better or simpler way to join an audio meeting without having to click on the video?

PROS: RingCentral has numerous great features, but what impressed us most is its ease of use. I mean, right from the onset everyone in our team was able to use its functions with ease.

CONS: Does the desktop version show any inefficiency? At the moment, the platform is working just fine and there is nothing to dislike about it. However, recently, we created a team of field agents and plans are in place to incorporate the RingCentral apps to our stack. We’ll see how that goes and if any problem will come our way.
