High-Availability Infrastructure
Utilizing the capabilities of Kubernetes, Squids.io provides users with a high-availability infrastructure where they can build and run their databases. The platform implements cluster sharding that enables them to split and distribute data across multiple machines or nodes in a database cluster.
Thus, the database cluster can continue to execute read and write operations even if one or more nodes fail. Through full and incremental backups, they can also automatically replicate databases to Amazon S3. This capability helps users protect critical data from security threats, human errors, and unexpected events.
