Powerful Character Recognition 

The software uses the latest in character recognition called Automatic Character Recogition (ACR) that makes receipt data capture more intelligent and accurate. ACR uses contextual analysis and adaptive machine learning, resulting in more accurate and faster processing compared to the traditional OCR. The latter is widely used in expense capture that may require outsourcing to clean up data. With ACR, claimants can send expense reports faster (less than 20 seconds) and more accurately.

PROS: The program works well enough, but if there’s anything worth commending about this, it is the team working to make sure that users get the best experience out of it. Here’s a little anecdote: I found myself locked out from my account and I really, really needed to access my data at that moment. I reached out to the customer support and they were able to log me back in just a few minutes. Kudos to the team!

CONS: I like everything about this program. It’s helpful and easy to understand. There are plenty of resources to help you utilize it better too.

PROS: I’ve been able to track my expenses more efficiently with Webexpenses. I can hold myself more accountable to my spending. There’s no reason for me to fail in this aspect because of how easy it now is to upload my receipts on Webexpenses’ online database.

CONS: The program can feel a bit clunky at times. I’d appreciate it if the developers were to add a feature that allows the user to see a birds-eye view of the reports sent in by individual users. This way, I don’t have to go through each account just to check their claims.

PROS: Going paperless has never been this easier! Webexpenses has allowed me to consolidate all of the company’s receipts in its database. Now, obtaining reports and get approval for claims are so much easier.

CONS: The reports, admittedly, can still be improved, aesthetic-wise. Right now, it looks really generic and does not facilitate understanding at all. It would be nice to at least have the sections color-coded.

PROS: For an expense management tool, Webexpenses surprisingly gives room for play to its users. The design and layout are fairly simple, but I’ve been able to tweak some aspects of it to my preferences. It’s relatively easy (one can even say interesting) to get to know too. I was trained by my supervisor and I’ve also taken the time to read through the manuals--both methods have been really helpful.

CONS: I’m still in the process of getting to know this program. So far, nothing seems broken. I’d have to keep my eye out for any issues first.

PROS: We needed a program that would have the flexibility to adapt to our complex work processes and needs. So far, Webexpenses has been the only one to fit these specific criteria that we have set. We worked with their team to have everything set-up, and they were able to do so very efficiently. They didn’t charge us for the extra work too! I can tell that this is the start of a really fruitful partnership.

CONS: Onboarding a new account approver does have its issues. For example, there were still some unapproved claims in the former approver’s pipeline, but those did not transition to the dashboard of the new one. New tax and HMRC rates don’t get updated in real-time too.

PROS: I really like the degree of care that Webexpenses’ customer support team gives their users. The tool is easy to use in the first place too.

CONS: Users have no problem navigating the tool. However, as an administrator, I have encountered some limitations that I think should be lifted. For one, I’d like to be able to segregate all my active and non-active users without having to sift through all of my lists.

PROS: We’ve managed to reduce the bulk of our admin work thanks to Webexpenses. Now, we don’t have to go through piles and piles of receipt just to produce a report. The whole transition to this paperless technology of tracking our expenses has been relatively painless thanks to the Webexpenses team too. This is definitely a tool that everyone can benefit from.

CONS: Once in a while, I notice lags whenever I try to upload files up on the system. I would appreciate it if the team were to look into this.

PROS: Webexpenses has the best support team in the business. I’ve worked with multiple reps already and each one had been really helpful and easy to work with. You can tell that they have had really good training from the management. Great job, guys!

CONS: I haven’t come across any issue that their team hasn’t been able to fix. For me, this is a really valuable tool with an even more valuable team working behind it.

PROS: First of all, I think that Webexpenses is a highly-intuitive tool that anyone can easily learn. I work as an admin in my company, and this has improved my work in leaps and bounds. Now, I no longer have to manually encode data and then hope to generate a cohesive report from it. Webexpenses does this job quite smoothly without further help from me. I can also easily publish information within my company to let our employees know of any changes or updates with regards to finances.

CONS: Nothing. Everything has been running smoothly so far.

PROS: I really love how intuitive this program is. It makes expense tracking so much easier and a lot more flexible for its users--all without being too complicated. It works smoothly with Sage too, another program that we use in our company. With these two solutions working together, we have seen an undeniable uptick in our team’s productivity. Setting the program itself was hassle-free too. We’ve always felt supported since Day1 by their customer response team and we’ve been able to offload a lot of our tasks into this system. Overall, I think that this is a great tool that provides a lot of value for our money. I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a reliable, flexible, and affordable expense tracking tool.

CONS: They’ve recently rolled out changes to the app that I wish were retroactive. It would be nice to have some of our older files sorted out too.

PROS: We’ve now welcomed our financial tracking into the 21st century by finally (finally!) going paperless and uploading all of our expenses data online. I think choosing Webexpenses to facilitate this transition had been a really good call. For one, it is an uncomplicated tool that our team members have managed to learn easily. There are some really promising features such as the reports and “notes” tools that have been really useful for me personally.

CONS: I do notice that whenever a big population of our employees log-in to the system simultaneously, the system tends to slow down a bit. We’re still trying to figure out if this is an issue from our end, or of the tool itself.

PROS: This has proven to be a reliable (even indispensable) tool for me now. Zooming in to its nitty and gritty, I’ve been enjoying just how well thought-out the features are. For example, they have an auto-calculator that computes the claims of our personnel. Needless to say, this has really lightened the burden for us on the admin team. It has made account owners from all ends more accountable to the claims that they file too.

CONS: So far I have found the reporting feature to be useful. . . just not very customizable though. Webexpenses doesn’t seem to work very well with other programs too.

PROS: There are a lot of things that I love about this program. For one, it’s cloud-based. Any member of our account can have access to it anytime, and anywhere. Another thing is that it is fairly easy to use. The environment is really simple. And lastly, there is impressive storage of expenses history stored in the program.

CONS: Onboarding accounts specialists take too long. We need to be able to grant each member of our team access to the accounts of all the employees in our company. While this is a relatively easy thing to do, the process can be quite long. If anyone can suggest a workaround on this, I would appreciate it. Auditing can be difficult too. If an item has a minor error, for example, we’d need to reject the whole submission instead of that one, minor detail.

PROS: One of the things I love about Webexpenses is its flexibility. I really appreciate how simple its environment is--plus, you can even tweak the colors for readability (and even based on personal preference).

CONS: Sometimes, too much of a good thing can be bad too. Because it is highly flexible and just about anyone can tweak it, I have been noting a few errors in spelling on the homepage. The learning curve can be quite steep too.
