Zoho Cliq is the new name of Zoho Chat rebranded in September 2017. The app has been given extra features to meet the needs of today’s business and office users. Whereas the previous software was limited to conventional chat and sharing, Zoho Cliq now incorporates a must-have for modern teams – voice and video functionality for more cohesive communication and deeper collaboration.
Zoho Cliq allows you to have direct chat and messaging with another user, or with several users/members in a chat room or channel. Now you can have as many channels as you want simultaneously, all viewable from a single window. The ability to share files is still there, but the biggest addition is that now you can make audio or video calls right from within the channel. Deployment has been expanded from not only being a web app but also as a desktop app for Mac, Windows and Ubuntu. Mobile apps are also available for Android and iOS.

PROS: Zoho Cliq is much simpler, more functional, and has more processes streamlined than Slack. Of course, it's better than email already. I can easily connect with my colleagues either by personal chat or by group chat, and new messages can easily be found, not confusing to use at all. Plus, it can be integrated into the Zoho System and other applications like API, web, and bots. Great for automating processes.
CONS: Nothing wrong to say about Zoho Cliq! I use them in a package with Zoho One, so we are using it without any additional cost. Zoho One is worth the money.

PROS: Send messages quickly. Send files, videos, images, weblinks, etc. Create polls, schedule a meeting, give assignments, give invitations. Zoho has a lot of features and functions so there is no need for additional applications that would clutter in your desktop and workflow. The interface is clean and easy to navigate.
CONS: Not many visuals. It can be added through the marketplace but I’d rather not purchase one.

PROS: Zoho Cliq is a great application for communicating with your team. It can be used in different operating systems and different devices and I can always contact each of them and as one even if I am not in the office. The software itself is easy to use, it is simple that even though I am not tech-savvy I can confidently navigate on it. Their support team is always excellent, always attentive, ready to help, and able to fix the problems and solve problems immediately.
CONS: So far none. It is an incredible app that can connect me to my team any time and every time.

PROS: I am a Zoho Suite user so it’s a no brainer that I use Zoho Cliq as a chat app. Nevertheless, the application is great. What I love about its ability to be used in different devices and multiple channels. The three-section format lets me have a call with three different people and then shift from one person to another. Convenient and great when multi-tasking.
CONS: The Mac version sometimes needs to be reloaded or rebooted for it to run properly.
