Daylite for Mac is an all-in-one CRM platform ideal for small businesses. Built specifically for a Mac-based business environment, the software helps you organize all your notes, emails, sales opportunities, projects, calendars, tasks, and contacts in a single platform. It is a fully-featured and user productive application that lets you keep all your CRM data in a centralized location.
The software offers a complete raft of tools for professional services firms that use Macs, iPhones, or iPads. It combines the functionalities of CRM, project management, and lead management into a single software, enabling you to keep track of your contacts, projects, opportunities, appointments, and tasks in an easily accessible application.
As a robust and comprehensive CRM tool, Daylite for Mac allows you to tie your work processes together, from communicating with your client to reviewing your last few emails with them. The software also helps you monitor each of your projects and check their status from a neat and easy-to-navigate dashboard. In just a few clicks, you can access your business calendar, emails, and contact lists, saving you more time and increasing your productivity.
Businesses that use Apple products as vital tools in their work processes can also take advantage of the integrations supported by the software. For instance, you can connect your Apple calendar to the system, enabling you to easily view your schedules, upcoming events, and appointments. Daylite for Mac also supports CardDAV, which means you can use iOS contacts for calling or updating lists stored in your database.
Moreover, the software provides a mail assistant feature that helps you organize emails and link them to related people, projects, and opportunities. To automatically store emails from your Apple device to your Daylite database, all you have to do is configure the settings of your Apple mail preferences. In doing so, your emails can be automatically linked to a matching contact, project, or opportunity. This also allows you to create new tasks or appointments directly from the Apple Mail app.
Daylite for Mac is available in monthly and yearly plans. The monthly subscription costs $29/seat/month, while the yearly plan is offered at $24/seat/month billed annually. The vendor also offers a 30-day trial period so you can try out the software and investigate its features firsthand.
Show MoreOffline Access
As a native Mac/iOS application, Daylite for Mac stores all your data in the cloud and allows you to access them even when you are offline. This feature is especially helpful to teams working on the go and have lost WiFi connection while they are on the road or in a meeting with a client. Even without an Internet connection, Daylite for Mac still allows you to pull up a recent email from a client, delegate a task to a team member, or quickly check project details. When the connection gets restored, Daylite for Mac automatically syncs across your team’s devices.
Apple Mail Integration
Daylite for Mac’s Apple Mail integration is a particularly convenient feature that lets you manage and organize emails without switching from one application to another. Using the software, you can save emails and link them to the matching client, deal, and project. You also have two options when sending emails: you can either send email from the Daylite application, or you can simply set Apple Mail as your default email composer from your iPhone or iPad.
Project Management
Packed with plenty of project management features, Daylite for Mac also serves as a handy tool to streamline your workflows. It lets you create custom pipelines for each of your projects, enabling you to closely monitor the tasks assigned to your team. All details of emails and client records can also be linked to your projects, ensuring that everyone from your team stays in the loop.
Contact Syncing
In Daylite for Mac, the process for synchronizing your contacts across multiple devices is simple and straightforward. From your Apple contacts, you can simply extract vCard files and import them to Daylite. Meanwhile, you can also select contacts from the Daylite app and sync them across all your Apple devices.
Smart Lists
You can also segment your contact list by filtering them using a variety of criteria. For example, you can filter your contacts that match the category of clients based in New York, or those who have had no recent activity in the last 30 days. You can then use this list to easily send out targeted email campaigns
Customization
Daylite for Mac also offers a number of customization tools, allowing you tailor the app according to your workflows. For example, you can turn your most frequently used menu commands into a right-click function, allowing you to build a menu option that contains your most-used tools. This helps you speed up your workflow and saves you more time in finding the right tools that you need from the app.
Show MoreProblem #1: Staying in touch with clients
Solution: A small business owner is busy managing projects for clients but needs to touch base with past clients to stay top of mind with them so they continually have new business coming in. The problem is they’re so busy running their business and working on current client projects that they forget to touch base. Using Daylite for Mac’s Smart Lists, they can create a filtered list of contacts that match the category of “Client” or “Customer” that have had no activity (no emails, call notes, etc) in the last 60 days. Then they can go through that list one by one and call or email, or send a bulk email to everyone in this list using a custom email template.
Problem #2: Staying on top of follow-ups
Solution: A small business owner has quite a long sales cycle. Usually from the point of meeting a prospect until the point where the prospect is ready to “sign the deal” can take a few months or even as much as six months and they need to stay in touch with that prospect to win the business. The problem is they have tons of prospects and are busy running their business or managing current client projects so they forget to follow up. Using Daylite for Mac’s Activity Sets, the customer can create a follow-up schedule that automatically reminds them to touch base a week from now, a month from now, three months from now, or whatever timeframe they want as it’s customizable. This helps them focus on their day-to-day without forgetting to follow up with leads that they haven’t spoken to in a while. They can take this a step further and create an opportunity for each potential deal and customize their own pipeline stage and follow-up schedule to track every deal from start to finish and streamline the process.
Problem #3: Tracking and organizing client projects
Solution: A small business owner and his/her team have multiple projects that they’re juggling at one time for the different clients they’re working with. For each client project, there’s a list of things that need to happen and they’re worried that details may slip through the cracks, or tasks may not get done on time, or their team member may miss a step. Using Daylite for Mac projects, they can create, organize, and prioritize a list of tasks for each client project that’s shared with the team. They can see when things are due and when things are marked as done. They can take it a step further to build a template for projects that follow the same process by customizing a project pipeline and tasks so they have a standard checklist for the team to follow. This makes sure things are done on time and in order without anything slipping through the cracks.

Because businesses have distinct business-related needs, it is only logical they steer clear of preferring an all-encompassing, ideal business program. Just the same, it is troublesome to come across such an app even among widely used software products. The better thing to do is to tabulate the different main functions that require research such as crucial features, packages, skill levels of staff members, organizational size, etc. Thereafter, you must follow through the research thoroughly. Browse over these Daylite for Mac review articles and explore the other software systems in your shortlist in detail. Such comprehensive product research ensures you circumvent poorly fit applications and pay for the one which meets all the benefits your company requires for success.

PROS: Its got a beautiful and working UI. Ever since it ran natively, Daylite is right there at home for both iOS and Mac systems. I love the fact that contacts and calendars can be integrated seamlessly with Calendar and Contacts apps. Its integration can go further with with almost any app for both iOS and Mac. Daylite comes bundled with its jaw-dropping Daylite Mail Assistant in bridging macOS Mail.
CONS: It'd be cool if there are ways in automating Daylite without asking help from a developer in writing customized code. Even if its calendar system is deemed capable, it has zero integration with third party schedule systems.

PROS: There's plenty ot love with Daylite. It's able to handle information in different ways. You can include Daylite to linking to outoing mail messages. This proves to be useful in linking a client or task for information monitoring. Our company's structure functions around Daylite5.
CONS: I wouldn't change anything with this program. It's flawless and excellent in the things it does.

PROS: Even if Daylite can easily be implemented in the initial going (as you move to the work environment), it can easily be customized. Being able to create new tasks and recurring events makes it all the more indispensable to how our law firm functions. It's a great thing to have. Inside and out, it's 5 stars!
CONS: Even if it's not a problem seen in our practice, I'm still not sure if Daylite has a certain feature. By that, I mean giving the user a chance to import contacts from a CRM provider. If the option happens to not be available, this could trigger an issue if your office happens to be switching from another provider to Daylite.
Great in business process management.

Ease of Use
PROS: Obviously, the great thing with this app is that I'm able to get down to work on my MacBook Air. It's often challenging (and even frustrattin) since there are so many things not given to Mac users. But Daylite is an exception here. Making use of Daylite for my day-to-day tasks helps me keep things organized. It's user-friendly and very intuitive.
CONS: I hate the fact that we wound up using it only for several months. I have no clue why my company decided to cut ties with Daylite. We were tasked to download another program instead. So that could be the main reason why. In my opinion, I like Daylite a whole lot better.
A God-given program for managing information.
