PROS: I could probably write a book about it, but let’s keep it simple: their UI is just the king of UIs, the back-end being accessible through the front end. Everything is somehow harmonious, happens fast, and goes smooth. You can immediately jump on the task, and do some real-time analytics without the skills of a pro. Support does whatever it takes to assist you.
CONS: You’re not allowed to add fields, and the UI doesn’t notify changes in the projects.
The least favorable review
PROS: I’m satisfied with people’s estimations and the automated schedules I am receiving. I am also a fan of the dashboard they introduced recently, even if I have a batch of scrum features left to try.
CONS: I thought it would be more intuitive, but it requires even regular users to have expert knowledge. It took me a lot of training to adopt the skills, and I am still making mistakes (considering that I’m only using My Work, imagine what would happen if I had to master the entire software!). I expected a wider perspective of the projects I am working on, but it seems they only want me to know what I am doing. And the biggest minus-there is no way to export original estimates! The baseline data threshold is 60+, which also spoils the picture. I follow the workspace, but I always feel like I’m missing on something. I could really use a change notify tool.

PROS: I like that LiquidPlanner is able to associate tasks to separate packages and for checklist items to be associated to different team members on a task by task basis. It is is also useful to add notes and associate files with an individual task.
CONS: I can't add data when I bulk upload tasks in a single line window. Excel upload of data is very buggy and doesn't offer much feedback on data issues. It would be great if different team members' work piles could be separated from one another if required so that it doesn't affect one another's time frame or schedule. Integration with Google Calendar would also be great too.

PROS: I like LiquidPlanner's ability to have ranged estimates rather that single point estimates for tasks. It has robust analytics and dashboard capabilities with new features being added regularly. It also supports a variety of project management styles, both waterfall and agile, though it is better optimized for agile. It also has a variety of views which are useful across role types.
CONS: The dashboard capacity is not sufficiently robust right now to meet all C-level visibility needs. The mobile app is not fully featured as it is designed for workers to track time and comment, but not for managers or project plan manipulation. Also, you cannot do customization like rearranging tasks from the mobile app.

PROS: The thing to love about LiquidPlanner is customization. You’re free to customize it accordingly to your needs, and to setup features in a manner suitable for your activities. It’s nothing like the ‘dictator’ apps of the past (fixed workflow, no space for simplification), and it integrates with your current workflow without puzzling configurations.
CONS: Project charters, feature considerations, and similar project management docs and not supported. A structural view on the project is also missing, meaning current projects are not indicated, and you cannot follow deadlines or assigned employees.

PROS: LiquidPlanner is able to customize our setup to meet our needs. It works well within our current workflow without the tedious or complicated configurations.
CONS: I wish it supports project management style documents like project charters and feature specifications. I would also like a higher level project view that gives an indication of all projects currently underway, their timeframe, and who was assigned for each project.

PROS: Our organization appreciates the possibility to associate tasks with specific packages, and to attach one checklist item per task to our team members’ schedules. I personally like the association of files with my individual tasks, and the fact that I can add notes wherever I need them.
CONS: I can’t add all the data I need when uploading multiple assignments in single-line windows (expected activities, maximal efforts, etc). Besides, I don’t think Excel is the right choice for this type of upload, and there is not much feedback available. It is much more logical to have a separate sheet for each employee’s assignments, and to control his work without necessarily affecting the schedules of other colleagues. I would also like to see it integrated with Google Calendar.

PROS: I like estimating time (ranges work much better than strict deadlines), and the simplicity of rescheduling tools.
CONS: I would like full-coverage on the budget, because this way I have to run a new report for every payment I’m making. It may not be suitable for every employee, but at least administrators deserve to have it on their dashboards.

PROS: I work for an ecommerce agency that deals with web development and ROI marketing optimization. Our Liquid Planner experience has been awesome so far, due to the clear overview on deadlines and assignments. We appreciate the ‘My Work’ feature, and we perceive it to be a personal assistant for each member of our production department. I could even say we’re predicting results, and we calculate properly what needs to be done in order to achieve them. That’s a lot of stress to get rid of! That’s not all! Liquid Planner is safe and repeatedly optimized, which assures us that there are no risks attached to our company growth. As a collaborative company, we believe that Liquid Planner is great for managing multiple projects. We recommend it to every business with a similar ideology.
CONS: Liquid Planner has been so helpful, that there is really nothing we could share, but words of appreciation.
Providing unparalleled reporting for our projects

Ease of Use
PROS: LiquidPlanner's reporting is head and shoulders above the rest. Its reports are easy to make and provide a great tool for sifting through data. I also like the way the projects are presented; I get a feel for where each project stands with just a quick glance. In addition, the timesheet exports are great, as well as the customizable fields and columns.
CONS: The scheduling is way too cumbersome and takes too much management to set it up. We need much more granular permissions than what is currently available so I can restrict people from setting activities, running specific reports, etc. For our purposes, LP seems to only have two levels of permissions. We also need daily timesheet submissions so we can know who logged in their time in a day. The portals were not a success for us and we need also to have custom fields that aren't just dropdowns.
Providing the capabilities a project manager needs

Ease of Use
PROS: LiquidPlanner provides the capabilities a project manager would need such as creating discrete tasks, time estimates, and parent categories for projects. The UI allows for granularity with nests and tree branches of related and contingent factors. It offers several layout types and more functions and features than is apparent at first glance.
CONS: It is perfect for detail-oriented people obsessed with analytics such as project managers but not so intuitive for other users such as editors, writers, artists, and software engineers who since those very powerful features do not resemble their workplace skills and knowledge.

Ease of Use
PROS: LiquidPlanner is exactly what every project manager needs: a tool for structuring projects, creating separate assignments, and estimating time. The UI is intuitive and equipped for granular analytics, meaning you can make your own nests/tree branches to divide and evaluate primary and secondary factors. The system is rich with layouts and functions, and it provides more content than the one apparent at first sight.
CONS: The system is a piece of heaven when there is a detail-accurate analysis behind the wheel. While this is completely fine for project managers, less hard-wired employees struggle even to understand even the basics of their assignments. I’ve received many complaints recently (mostly from my writers and editors, but also one from my software engineering) that provoked a second thought of whether I’ve brought a facilitator or a challenge in the office. I see a serious lack of connection between the system and the skills of my employees.

PROS: I honestly prefer ranged estimates to single point estimates when accomplishing my tasks. The system supports high-quality analytics, and has an ‘ever developing’, robust dashboard to work on. You can choose from a rich palette of management styles (waterfall and agile included), even if I personally prefer the optimization of agile. The View function is absolutely amazing, and it helps you stay on top of every role, card, schedule, or even the entire project.
CONS: The dashboard is not exactly equipped for the needs of C-level visibility. That one and the rearrangement of tasks should definitely be improved! Then, the issue of the mobile time-tracker: the app works, it’s not like it is completely dysfunctional, but I think it should be improved. According to me, managers have too much space to manipulate a project, especially when workers track their hours accurately.

PROS: I like LiquidPlanner's UI, as well as the access to the "back-end" with a front-end. It offers easy access, quick time tracking capabilities, and an interface allows you to jump in and start immediately. The analytics is in real-time, easy and robust, while their customer support is amazing. It's great to have a successful company that provides a personal touch.
CONS: You can't require fields, nor are you able to see notifications in the UI or from the "Projects" view.
