PROS: The product went all the way from something I didn't need to a tool I can't work without! I love how it allows me to customize the onboarding processes for various programs and locations. I use this to make information accessible to new employees, and I feel relaxed knowing that they have all the answers they need in order to deal with their tasks.

CONS: The implementation assistance was so good that I regret not going deeper before starting to build my workflows. Overall, the program is awesome and there is nothing to dislike about it.

PROS: We didn’t come across any obstacle to implement it, and we're using it to create content that can be user more than once. This is how we save finances and time on development. As an administrator, I use the program to organize trainings for new employees and to follow their progress in all of the oganizations involved. I am also aware that the program is beneficial to all users, especially students who think their personal portal is easy and friendly.

CONS: we faced difficulties with customizing reports, that's why we returned to AdHoc reporting.

PROS: If you ask me, SilkRoad is a fast and accessible software, and our HR department logs data with it every day. I think this is the most valuable feature, because data is always there and we don't have to browse thousands of documents to find somehting we need. I was not that techie at the beginning, and it took me a while to master the program, but I taught myself to navigate it and I am really happy I did it.

CONS: The problems are mostly related to customer support and integration. For instance, when we tried to connect it to RedCarpet, all employees were automatically transferred to it, receiving an email that congratulated them on their new accounts. I think this is a mistake SilkRoad should not afford. Besides, access is too restricted for cetain user profiles, meaning that employees cannot review the process unless they have the same permissions as members of the higher HR levels.

PROS: No wonder they have a program called RedCarpet, the company provides the most luxurious and streamlined recruiting tools I've ever seen. At the same time, the tools encompass many activities and tasks, meaning you can rely on them for a significant portion of your work. It was a friendly experience from the beginning, and the hiring managers were impressed by it.

CONS: It is a pity that such an amazing product comes without proper technical support. It takes them a while to respond, I case they respond at all. I am also not the biggest fan of their reports' robustness, even if I can't complain on the value of the information they provide. Summing up, i would also make few of the buttons less cumbersome.

PROS: I will be honest and admit that we have unusually high thresholds for flexibility, but that is completely understandable if one takes time to go through our HR software history. Let’s say that we are a middle-size organization that likes to keep things under control (especially in terms of staff) and we were therefore eager to get a real assistant to help us hire and evaluate people. I'm proud to say that we made a fantastic choice, and we didn't expect less from such professionals.

CONS: The program integrates with third-party software, but the paradox is that it doesn’t integrate with other products from the same company. Well, theoretically does, but 'communication' is not awesome. I would like to see full compatibility with Connect, but I think they should do serious reporting changes for the purpose.

PROS: Intuitiveness above all! And I'm referring to all key features, both from the administrative and end-user perspective. Feedback has been amazing since we bought the package (internal and external too), meaning we've become more organized and accurate in the management of our products. The mobile apps are great too.

CONS: I found the same limitations as I usually do with SaaS software: internal settings, workarounds, editing nad many others that should be taken seriously for the projects' sake. Besides, they are only introducing US-relevant features, I wish to see them more focused on APAC features or Greater China states. At the end of the day, we all pay the same price, don't we?

PROS: Were you aware of all the things systems can do for you when well-integrated? Ever since I discovered SilkRoad, I've been observing a marvelous data transfer and I still can't believe I'm not the brainy one behind it. I also like the simplicity, fantastic updates, and reliable customer support (they offer valuable annual conferences you should definitelly attend!).

CONS: If I have to choose one thing to expose as negative, it would be communication. I mean, it's not bad, but I've seen much better. While the outrageous number of emails sent by the program are good in some cases, they are just too overwhelming in others. Just the other day I received a phone call from an applicant informing me that the support line was not working (imagine, I had to receive this information from an applicant!). I contacted customer care to see what it was about, and i found out that was true for a while already (and I was suddenly in charge of troubleshooting a problem I didn't even knew I had!). The customer team gave me tips (but only after asking for them), and I really made it clear for them that this type of problems should be prevented, rather than cured.

PROS: At the moment, we are using Onboarding, Performance, HRIS, and Recruiting, and we think that all of them are exceptionally easy and user-friendly.

CONS: We used HeartBeat, but we stopped because we understood that the functions are very limited. For instance, permissions could really make you sweat had you missed their preparatory sessions (not so friendly after all!), and the integration with ADP WorkforceNow was not perfect either.

PROS: Our project managers are quite satisfied with implementation support, and so are the training and support teams. Questions are being answered on time and there are no delays.

CONS: As a random user, I have restricted capacity to change forms, and I have to rely on our support team to do that for me. The process takes a lot of time, I'd really like some extra 'freedom'.

PROS: You want an automatic hiring setup? Go for SilkRoad! SilkRoad's OpenHire helped me to become more efficient when hiring people, and to let annoying emails stay in the past. Once you have such overview on all activities, it is easy to focus on the really important ones.

CONS: Both users and employees agree that the product is awesome and easy to use, but nobody says the same concerning administration. Many features are unintuitive from the administrators side , and you can only get support by phone, they don't answer emails too often.

PROS: I can’t say a bad word about their interface, it is really understandable and user-friendly. All compliments to the online guides as well, they are comprehensive and available for everyone.

CONS: I must say I'm disappointed by the reported capacity, it didn’t make it through the half of what I was expecting. And that's not all-I hate to see the quality of exported data being disrupted (how does it help me if I have to correct it manually again?), and I am far from satisfied with their customer support. They take ages to reply, and most of the time it is not even the answer I wanted. Another thing: don't take updates for granted. You need to ask for them yourself.
