PROS: I have found that SharePoint is one of the best document management solution that helps in improving the collaboration in the enterprise. It is flexible and easy to use tool. It offers capabilities for creating and managing taxonomies. I like that we can easily build the metadata based on those taxonomies. It allows us to better manage the content types and metadata in an organized way. The enterprise search is powerful tool that is great for improving the content quality.
CONS: The UI needs some improvements but on the other side it has great amount of features and capabilities. They could make the UI better with latest updates.
The least favorable review
PROS: We use SharePoint for improving internal communications. Great tool for posting company’ announcements and to keep the documentation in one place so they could be easily accessible to every department. I like the integration with Outlook Calendar because I’m able to share calendars and create calendar for community sign ups. I like that here I can find the information I need for my company such as vacation days.
CONS: Sometimes it takes too long for loading, and we cannot easily organize the files, it lack general buy-in, they could improve the alert system so it can be used by everyone. Also, I haven’t found it useful for digital marketers because it doesn’t offer tools for content management.

PROS: SharePoint allows us to archive all documents, schematics, procurement drawings, label files, machine programs, firmware and others, the good thing is that everything is in one place. We can even create a sub-folder under other folders. We are able to co-sign to sign off the documentation and to give permission to send requests. This tool allow us to add revisions, make notes and comments for every task and file we control within the system.
CONS: At first it was difficult to understand how to run this software but we managed to learn the ins and outs. I have some dislikes about this system: the interface is not updated, there are many options that are difficult to find, when I want to upload a file bigger than 10MB it takes some time, also removing folder is complex, it can be difficult to reassign tasks and when I want to change something about the tasks I need to delete and restart again.

PROS: Organizing, arranging and sharing files has never been easier. SharePoint provides with real time collaboration and everyone within the team is allowed to edit documents. We can create folders for every department and we can even set permissions rights. We can easily share documents through the Sharepoint interface, we can add comments and track changes, and we can even display data.
CONS: It can be a little expensive for small organizations, we need to spend money on implementation and planning of the site. Also, the thing that I don’t like is that we need to use Internet Explorer if we want to move documents.

PROS: There are lot of things that I like about SharePoint software: lots of functionalities, integration with Office 365, document/project/file sharing. I like that this tool is intuitive and easy to use, understandable and reliable software. It offers blogs and tasks lists functionalities and apps implementation as well.
CONS: I don’t like that the online public website feature is not continued. Also, Office 365 doesn’t support the BLOB storage and it has limitation with databases, it is limited to 100GB. In addition, the online user license is expensive and it doesn’t allow customizations.

PROS: SP allows us to share and post information for our employees and clients. They view and receive updates on for daily projects, meetings and reports. It is great tool when it comes to team building and collaboration between the staff member.
CONS: I don’t like that this tool in last year requires more administration work. Also, it is not affordable for small businesses.

PROS: Microsoft is definitely number one tool for every kind of business. I love the new Sharepoint version. I can clearly say that the software is improved, updated and there are lot of useful features. It’s great tool for organizing and keeping track of all our documentation and staff management solutions.
CONS: The screens are all similar and we could easily make mistakes when it comes to setting up permission, lose column or preview the data. They could make this navigation more easy to use.

PROS: Sharepoint is faster than other traditional servers. We have an easy access to all documentations. We are allowed to preview the files and documents without opening them in an editable format. Great thing is that I can access the data from anywhere, and I know that everything is securely stored and accessible.
CONS: I don’t know why but I am limited in using the SharePoint from my Mac. I cannot access the data like from a regular server, so I need to log in vie Microsoft 365 online and go through TeamSites. It’s time-wasting, because I need to edit a lot of files and then re-uploading the files online.

PROS: I love how SP improves the collaboration. Users are allowed to work on same projects and documents at the same time. The system keeps archive of the documents and it keeps the name of those who made the changes. The security system within the tool is easy to use and I like the fact that the things are secure and hidden to users. The process of uploading, sending and downloading documents is easy and smooth. We often use the task list to keep track of the projects.
CONS: The fact is that this system allows lot of customization without some program knowledge skills, but the thing is that I’m not Net specialist and this makes it difficult for me to create some options and solutions for solving the problems.

PROS: I like that it reduces the physical distances between the employees, users and teams. They can easily collaborate with each other and this means that they can be more productive. I like that we are allowed to manage the documents and to combine the existing business management software with this one.
CONS: My first experience with this tool is its complexity, it can be really overwhelming at the beginning. Also, the tool is not as intuitive when using via mobile device.

PROS: Sharepoint allows us to create libraries and pages so we can store things and organize all our documentation. We can categorize data by name or date so we can easily find what we are searching for. Even though everyone can have access to the information we can limit who is allowed to download, contribute and upload data.
CONS: I don’t think that Sharepoint is an intuitive tool. They need to work on many things. I have difficulties when it comes to access and editing.

PROS: By using SP we create easy access to all users, this makes better and easier collaboration on projects and this is great when your team members is located all around the world. It allows you to keep track of the edited files, even if you are outside partner you are able to keep track of everything that is done.
CONS: Last time when I tried to update some Excel files on SP the formulas in the spreadsheets where changed to the network file locations instead of the proper locations.

PROS: I like that this software has intuitive and understandable user interface. It is well-configured. I personally like the folder-structure feature. I like that it has access rules and controls add to the security of the documentation.
CONS: The app may get slow. They could add some archive features. The search engine needs improvements because if you don’t know the exact name of the document then it can be hard to find it.

PROS: SharePoint is a full management system that provides with workflow and automation, records, insights and analytics management, user profiles, rich content contribution, document sharing and management, announcements and the list can go on and on. Also, we use site template features, calendar, surveys and tasks. What I like most is the support from Microsoft team.
CONS: You can find a lot of limitations when it comes to branding and designs, you cannot change the layout easily, the system doesn’t have full support on mobile, and you can run into difficulties if you have a lot of customization or implementation.

PROS: Sharepoint provides many options. I work for a big company and we have a tons of work on SP. The software works great for us and we maximize its capabilities. We love the option to share the work with others and we can even choose how we want to share the file. Some members can only view the documents while others can work on changes and updates on the documents.
CONS: To tell the truth, the software can be a little overwhelming, but if you use it on a daily basis you will see the effectiveness of the software.

PROS: You can easily see where your content is. Share point allows you to attach photos to press releases, and the good thing about this software is that you have everything in one place whether it is for reviews or approvals.
CONS: I hate to say this, but the program has a lot of bugs, it crashes a lot, sometimes doesn’t save changes so I have to start from beginning. There are old file information and when I want to upload the files are automatically imported.

PROS: I like the ability to share data and calendar information with my team members. The software is relatively easy to set up and it’s web based. You don’t need to install any programs or additional files. You can also find great integrations within SharePoint.
CONS: I feel like the software can be slow, and when I try to delete some information I receive an error message. There are limitations in plug-ins and into the placement of tables and widgets.

PROS: Sharepoint is great tool to story all documentation and produce great working space. We use this system for sharing and keeping data, also we use the calendar and wiki features as well. This is a product from Microsoft and offers great integrations with other Microsoft software, like Office. The good thing is that SP keeps track of the edit documents in a shared folder.
CONS: We had some issues with the documentation on SharePoint, because they cannot be edited by different people at once. Also, this program seems to work only with Internet Explorer, everyone in our office is using Chrome and we are frustrated when we need to use IE for this one reason.
