PROS: What I like best about this software is its feature-rich enterprise platform. It has good interfacing capabilities, especially when it comes to other Cisco solutions. With it, we do not have to worry about communications that break off. It is also helpful that the Cisco Communications Manager has a reliable support team as well as detailed documentation.
CONS: Despite its powerful functionalities, this software has limited integrations with third-party devices. Its API for integrating with third-party solutions does not even look up to date. On top of it all, it has a steep price tag and requires a lot of investments when it comes to virtual machines.

Ease of Use
PROS: Cisco CallManager is replete with wonderful features that we can configure to our needs. It also makes it easy for us to oversee endpoints. Plus, it helps that Cisco CallManager has a 99.9% uptime.
CONS: There are other products that have the function we need but we still went with Cisco UCM because it is a cut above then. We're only making up for what we lack by using a third-party software. Also, Cisco may want to change its WebEx because it is excessively pushed.

Ease of Use
PROS: The best thing about Cisco UCM is how it sends missed messages to my email so that I can relay it to the appropriate person or department. On top of that, the phone system is user-friendly. There are only a few buttons and everything is functional. Moreover, it is great that I do not have to input a password each time.
CONS: Cisco should expand their documentation for UCM to reduce the instances of calling tech support since not everyone has the time to go through several channels just to know how to resolve an issue.

PROS: Cisco phones are designed like computers that we can place anywhere across our network without changing their settings. Because of that, we can do away with the professional services of a telecom contractor. Overall, Cisco UCM is an easily configurable and manageable system.
CONS: It can be difficult to upgrade Cisco hardware especially when we need to expand. For it to work, my team has to make adjustments to give room for growth.

Ease of Use
PROS: The speed dialing is one of the best features of UCM because it lets me call people without going through several menu windows. It also helps that I can receive my messages via email so that I can look at them even when I am not in the office. Moreover, it is beneficial for me to make audio conference calls with colleagues via the phone with ease.
CONS: It would be advantageous if there are more speed dial options available. Unfortunately, my company doesn't have that, unlike the previous organization I worked for.

PROS: Cisco UCM is a stable and reliable solution that we have been relying on for our communications for almost 15 years now. We are so glad that even our clients and partners enjoy interacting with us through the CallManager.
CONS: Cisco UCM is a very complex software that requires new users to take a while to learn all about its features and tools. However, once you are familiar with it, using and managing it is almost effortless. Still, Cisco needs to consider the design of UCM because there are areas in which it is lacking such as call reporting. It is unbelievable that this core and basic function is an add-on.
