PROS: It is an easy tool to use. Once you get the hang of things, you will be able to streamline your workflows without much hustle. It allows you to customize the fields and workflows on the platform the way you want. As a result, you will able to configure or edit the system tailored for your recruitment needs. We are a young recruitment firm and thus by implementing iCIMS, we had the time to explore and try out some of the functionalities the product has to offer and y that we were able to settle for this tool. After customization, we can keep on going back to correct or edit more based on our current and future needs, which is impressive.

CONS: There are a few things that the developers of iCIMS need to address in order to make this product better in terms of functionality. Although we have not had the time to critically analyze what it has to offer, we saw a thing we did not like about the email feature of the tool. It is not that impressive when it comes to sending emails to our candidates. For example, when we send iForms via our email to that one of the candidates, it is sent to the Junk Mail as spam messages. This is because of how the system formats our corporate email address which does not resemble the original address at all. It would be nice if they corrected this so that our emails can be sent to the right folder for our candidates.

PROS: Convenient ATS that lets us efficiently sort applicants into different sets. It also features streamlining customizations. This lets even our superiors to put applicants to certain positions instantly. Plus, it features instant syncing of certain configurations without the need to wait for it to load and take effect.

CONS: This is perfect for integration with other HR platforms, but it doesn’t do well with some. iCIMS should add them to its list. It is also hard to do tweaks on some files. This causes some problems for our superiors because they can’t make certain files meet specific demands.

PROS: It is especially useful for all the websites we have for our services and products since it makes managing content easier. Sending emails to our own iCIMS portal is also efficient because it helps us avoid mistakes such as sending emails to different channels. Delegating applicant documents to our recruitment staff is also accurate and easy, so we can check such documents instantly when needed. It handles onboarding records without hassles too.

CONS: It is difficult to learn for new users because of complex templates and features. Better and more efficient UI can solve this issue. It has some problems when sharing info with other people too, such as job vacancies.

PROS: It helps you to customize your workflows the way you want in a stepwise manner. This makes your work easier and those of the recruiters and hiring managers. It allows them to analyze the skills and experiences of all candidates in levels where you will be able to hire the best talent from a bunch. The social media sharing and branding capability is also intuitive and offers a great way to share job postings to your social media audience. This increases the spread and awareness of the job posts you have put up on social media and thus attracts more candidates to apply. It integrates well with other applications such as HRIS which makes it easy to implement and use it.

CONS: There are problems with how integration with other tools works. If there are issues with integrations, the system does not allow you to copy or access the details that were accessible before there was an issue. This brings about inconveniences when you face such a problem. iCIMS has consistent changes in terms of the tools that it integrates with. When such changes occur, you will not be able to access data or information from the parties that you were connected with using the third party tool that was previously compatible with iCIMS. It would be better if one would access that information after such a change for the purpose of ticketing.

PROS: When it comes to the design of the tool, it is very simple. It offers a great way for users to make the best use of the functionalities the product has to offer. iCIMS makes the process of recruitment easy even for a new user as the features are easy to understand. It is highly customizable which mean that you can edit the fields and workflows to suit your company needs. The fact that it has multiple Webinars mean that you will be able to learn how to use the different features the product has which puts you at a better position to make the best use of what you have.

CONS: Although updates now and then are helpful as they help to address the problems users have with the tool, they tend to slow down the processes. My staff finds such updates on iCIMS not that helpful to them. Although they signify improvements, it may take time to learn how to use the new updates within the system. This cuts off or slows down the workflow which is not that good on my part. All in all, we appreciate those upgrades since they are necessary if this product is to be competitive in the market. Apart from that, the scheduling functionality is not that intuitive. It is difficult to use and thus a drawback on my part.

PROS: I like the fact that it is easy to customize the program. It offers multiple integrations with other applications, which is a plus on my side. They are trying very hard to integrate this tool with other technologies which will help both the existing and potential users of this program. Just to mention a recent workshop I attended in Philadelphia, which was held by iCIMS, they want to involve all players in finding new solutions and how to develop and make better this program. With such a dedication, I liked how they took their time and effort to help engage both the users and potential users of this program in finding how it can serve them better.

CONS: It has problems when it comes to its reporting feature. For newcomers it can be frustrating to pull up reports on everything that you do using this program. It may take you a lot of time to generate a report that you want. This means that you have to learn a few tricks and short cuts on how to pull this off. You will need to know how to locate and use filters for your reports so that you can locate them with ease once they are generated. It would be better if they made the filter function easy to locate so that users can be able to filter reports once they generate them using this program.

PROS: It offers great customization once you implement it into your system. I have been using it for almost 10 years and I can tell you that it has become of huge help in terms of recruitment processes. It is possible to edit fields, reports and customize workflows the way you want or with respect to your requirements. This makes your work easier as you can build an internal system that is tailored for your system needs. It is also easy to access from wherever you are since it is a cloud based platform. For the control functionality, you can choose who to add or who to remove from the system which gives you better admin functionalities. The job library works fine to keep our job descriptions updated all the time for our candidates.

CONS: Although highly customizable, it does not provide that for windows pop-ups. It would be better if there was an improvement on this to make the tool even better in terms of functionality. It is also not easy to get rid of or delete fields that are no longer in use. For example, if you create a field and then after sometime you no longer need it, you cannot delete it. It only provides for you to hide it. The complexity of the tool can be too much for a newcomer. Due to this, you will be required to hire an expert in managing updates within the system. It is also not intuitive when integrating with Outlook which is a major drawback on our part.

PROS: It is an impressive recruitment product. When it comes to managing the processes that take part in recruitment, it helps you to do all that without much effort. It is highly configurable which means that you can implement it and customize it according to the needs of your company. This will help you to analyze and manage data that relates to the entire process and make decisive decisions moving forward. Apart from that, it has powerful partnership with other players in market to make sure that this product provides the best solutions for recruiters. With the consistent investment in innovation by iCIMS, it is clear that they are dedicated to providing modern solutions to recruitment problems, which is a good thing.

CONS: There is very little to like about this tool. However, you will find a few problems here and there which tend to frustrate you a lot. For my part, it is the reporting functionality that comes with this product. It has proven to be challenge on my part especial when it comes to pulling up reports on different areas we engage in with our recruitment processes. That part is not intuitive let alone user-friendly. It would be nice if they made it easy to generate and locate those reduces within a short period and without much hustle. The good thing is that, the customer support is highly responsive and they helped us through the challenging processes.

PROS: It is an all-round tool for our talent acquisition products. We feel that it has all the resources and features that we need to actively and effectively acquire talent products without much hustle. It provides better and reliable ways to execute Onboarding processes for our talent acquisition activities. iCIMS is a great product when it comes to implementation. We did not have a problem in this area. Although we had to set up the entire workflow and processes before we could implement it, it was smooth thereafter. It made everything seamless from the workflow to providing assistance to customers in an equitable manner.

CONS: We were made to believe that just by integrating with channel partners, we did not need new integrations. However, this was not the case as we realized later that it was a must that we add new integrations to make this efficient on our part. It would have been nice if they made tis clear on our part. This would have gotten us up and running with our talent acquisition processes. Due to this misinformation, we took a lot of time to realize that we had it all wrong which slowed down our workflows. If we got the right message earlier than later, we would have known which forms to purchase and portal to go with for efficiency in operations.

PROS: It has working features that help streamline your workflow. When you want to recruit staff for your business, this tool works fine to make your work easier. It has multiple tools with great features that strive to see you succeed in your quest. When compared with other similar tools, iCIMS gives an easier user interface for you to get things on the move. It has a highly responsive customer support that works around the clock to give you more than you bargained for in terms of support. It is easy to set up and train your staff on how to use this program to keep everything in check in terms of the workflow.

CONS: Although a great program for your recruitment solutions, it has its drawbacks and thus some areas need improving moving forward. When it comes to project quoting, this program only quotes the time expectations of that project. It would be nice if it took to account the person or company, which has been assigned that project and their credentials in terms of experience. This would help to improve the visibility of the project with regard to the entire project. On the part of implementation of the program, it does not specify the testing, resources needed and other requirement that will be needed to implement that program. All this have to be made clear in terms of the timeline for all those processes including the testing and tasks required to fully implement iCIMS.

PROS: It is easy to configure and use this tool for your benefit. If you want to change orders, you can do this without having to explain to the provider or submit a ticket or pay for change of order fees. When you compare it with other similar applications, iCIMS is unmatched. It offers great and highly respective customer support. When you call them with a problem, they are always available to lend a helping hand. You get quick feedback for your queries and they are resolved within a short period. It is very hard to find such a quick and helpful customer support with other tools.

CONS: It is an already great tool on my part. However, they have been doing some changes in terms of configurations which do not seat well with me. I am used to having it easy with this tool when it comes to customization and configurations of some of the fields and functionalities. However, with the recent and consistent changes in configurations, they are losing out on this. It would be better if they did not interfere with this functionality as it is what makes them great. Other than that, I have been able to find comfort and higher productivity with iCIMS and I can only be grateful.
