PROS: As a company, we use a lot of open shifts to find people who can fulfill the required slots. This reduces the teams friction and ensures that people on flexible working hours are able to complete this shift. It reduces contention and no shows.
CONS: Differences in open shift pay can help us to incentivise the rate of pick up for these open shifts.
