The workflow management capability of Redtail CRM is one of its prominent features. The CRM software offers automated workflows, allowing users to generate workflow steps and tasks, and assign them to a  specific client or lead. Redtail CRM offers a list of workflow templates that are built specifically for financial advisors and planners. A workflow template is consist of steps, tasks, and outcomes.

Workflow steps include documenting of client’s request and instructions, processing EFT (Electronic Fund Transfer) from client’s bank account, verifying funds received, trading account, and calling the client to confirm that the funds have been drafted correctly.  

The outcomes of workflow steps provides users if-then scenarios, allowing them to go back to a previous workflow step, stay in a current workflow step, or move to the next workflow step when the current one is already completed.

As an illustration, the verification of funds will generate three possible workflow outcomes: (1) when funds are not drafted correctly, the adviser needs to troubleshoot the errors and verify the funds again; (2) when funds are received correctly and no trades are needed, the adviser can move to the next step, which is to call the client to confirm the correct drafting of the funds; (3) when funds are received correctly and trades are needed, the next step is to trade account.

Moreover, advisers can add notes to a workflow step, enabling them to document the reason a workflow can’t progress yet to the next step in the list or document the completion of a step.

Another feature of Redtail CRM is its seminar management capability. With this feature, users will be able to quickly add new seminars or client events. They can do this through the calendar section, and they can also add attendees to a scheduled seminar quickly. This feature enables users to plan their seminars and obtain seminar reports efficiently.

Redtail CRM also offers a tagging functionality. This allows users tag and categories any records they have in the CRM database. With this functionality, they can easily edit records in bulk. It is very helpful in managing marketing campaigns. As records are linked to specific campaigns, users will be able to obtain relevant information they need.
