Using maps and graphical tools, Smaply makes customer journeys tangible, something you can view clearly and grasp key insights on the fly. The software has three main outputs: Personas, Journey maps and Stakeholder maps. A Persona editor allows you to describe and define the context of customer types visually, like looking at real social user profiles.

On the other hand, the Journey maps editor helps you create storyboards, text lanes and channel lanes to plot customer experience.

Lastly, Stakeholder map editor lets you visualize formal vs. informal relationships between stakeholders, identify bottlenecks and frictions and pinpoint opportunities.

Together, the three visual editors make customer experience mapping more concrete and tangible, a refreshing improvement from reading cumbersome profile reports or spreadsheets.
