Switchvox is an easy-to-use yet powerful VoIP business phone system designed by Digium for smart and modern businesses with more than five users. This is a customizable communication solution that empowers businesses to transition from simple telephony to multi-faceted unified communication solution. The platform is designed around the state-of-the-art Asterisk open-source software, and it integrates all office communications to save time and money.

Switchvox is offered as either on-premise PBX solution or a hosted VoIP service. However, business with multiple office locations can deploy a hybrid Switchvox solution in which the cloud-based and on-premise systems are joined to functions together as a solitary system. PROS: Switchvox helped us more strictly implement our no-personal-call policy by embedding a solution into office lines. It used to be our IT support team that does that but even, there had been loopholes that allowed some to sneak a call. But that's no longer the case now and I'm very satisfied with that.

CONS: Everything is great and no issue to raise.

PROS: With Switchvox, you can set up and configure the system very easily. Technical issues that come our way are at a minimum. And whenever we encounter one, the technical support team goes above and beyond to help us.

CONS: My chief complaint is its call recording. It does not run smoothly. With one interruption, for instance, a cal transfer, the entire recording of the call is dropped and cannot be found. Switchvox has to up its ante on this one because recording calls are critical to our business; it allows us to review calls for quality control.

PROS: Switchvox has a user-friendly interface and responsive. Overall, it offers rich features that can be tailored to individual business needs. Truly, it has become a fundamental tool for our everyday operations.

CONS: The newest version does not smoothly work with Asterisk. We never encountered such issues with the older version. The new one is also fraught with bugs which we also did not encounter with the older version.

PROS: For a very budget-friendly price, I was surprised by how much Switchvox can do, such as streamlined call management systems, great call quality, extensive call tracking, seamless integration with other lines, easy to set up, and awesome, zero-lag performance. Customer support is also superb, consistently responding promptly and providing useful answers. These make it perfect for SMEs handling multiple accounts.

CONS: While setting up the IVR on your own is not an easy task, customer support is very helpful in guiding you every step of the way.

PROS: Switchvox is very flexible with customization so you can set it up and arrange it in a manner that best suits your operations' needs. More importantly, it connects well with our CRM platform so we can easily review incoming calls.

CONS: I hope Switchvox could find a way to automate the adding of extensions. At present, we do this manually and it consumes a lot of our time.

PROS: Switchvox trumps its rivals in every aspect of the competition. It permits a high level of flexibility in its features such as adjusting volumes and setting up speakers. Such flexibility is not easy to find in any VOIP. Another thing I like about Switchvox is its simplified interface where you can find everything you need. Plus, it never lags, making connecting softphone and landlines very smooth.

CONS: The mobile version is less of its desktop version so I'm looking forward to more upgrades on the app version.

PROS: Switchvox can centralize the management of calls into one device. It provides extensive tracking features that allow you to create a comprehensive report on call volumes and trends.

PROS: I was initially at a loss on how to use and setup Switchvox but its website had a pool of useful FAQs that really hits the spot.

PROS: My favorites about Switchvox: friendly and very knowledgeable CX and technical support; neat and user-friendly platform; multiple integration; and comprehensive reporting.

CONS: Changing the call setup cannot be done on our own. We always need tech support for this.
